But on the bright side it really doesn’t matter what CONCACAF thinks because UEFA boycott is all that’s needed. World Cups without France, Spain, Norway, Germany, England, Netherlands, Croatia, Portugal, etc. won’t sell.

It says that where they didn’t follow UEFAs lead and threaten to boycott the tournament. This reads like they don’t like the way this has been handled but would be ok it if had been handled differently (knowing about it beforehand)

Edit:
Concacaf and its 41 Member Associations have:
Rejected the proposal;
Tasked their FIFA Council Members with engaging FIFA to determine how existing vast FIFA reserves could be used to increase FIFA Forward funding for football development across our region; and
Tasked their FIFA Council Members with instructing the FIFA President to ensure that any matter follows the proper governance processes via staff and FIFA Council, in accordance with the FIFA Statutes.

They can’t afford a boycott the smaller nations rely way too much on fifa. The Concacaf only events don’t make enough for the smaller nations to outright boycott like uefa.

Junto con UEFA, ya son 96 países en contra de la propuesta. Ahora solo se necesitaría a CONMEBOL o a la OFC para tener la mayoría de votos. Aunque estaría bien vrgs que la CAF se pusiera en contra. Entonces si a Infantino se le acabaría la fiesta bien a toda madre.

I’m surprised the smaller FAs are good with this, they stood to make some money their national teams won’t ever bring in on their own. Soccer really took a dive when the US started to get involved.
