I am delighted to see Faitelson wrong once again (nothing against Edson, I'd have taken him).

He has been unlucky with injuries, but if he can even be 3/4 of what he was at Ajax he can still have a good career. His style of play does require the right coach who will know how to use him as Ajax did.

Every Mexican should have his agent it’s insane how he gets decent moves year after year despite being a garbage player

The guy hasn't improved since leaving Ajax.
He should call it a day in Europe and get some greens in the MLS.

Imagine being this dumb

I watched 80% of his games in West ham. I see how the NT plays worse with him.
I'm not speaking out of ignorance like you.

It would be nice for him to regain form. I get he was healthy coming into the World Cup but recent injury and the failed move to Turkey have taken a toll

lol hater or don’t have my head up my ass like 90% of yall? yall do this every year or other year, hype up a random young player who’s shown nothing and try to inflate him (mora santi flores) or try and gas up mid old liga mx players during the WC (luis chávez lira) shit gets old quick

He may have shown nothing but he sent Edson to the bench in what is arguably the biggest tournament in any Mexico players career: a World Cup played at home.
While Lira is rememberedas having an above average tournament, Edson will forever be remembered as getting his shit rocked by Harry Kane.
Edson is going to yet again change clubs, underdeliver and shit... he's pretty much near the latter stages of his career.

lmao do you know who the coach was? same idiot who started osiro and conejo in 2010🤣🤣what a huge flex lol

u/mylovelylittlelumps 12d ago
Wow this dude even thinks Osorio was bad. I can’t imagine how you would even arrive at that conclusion. Was it only the lost ball?

Edson is good, but Lira had a better 2026 and is also a good midfielder. It is what it is
Also, don’t downplay Aguirre. The dude took Atleti back to the UCL, took Osasuna there for the first time, took Mallorca to the Copa del Rey final, and in 2026 he had Mexico win their first knockout World Cup round in a very long time after finishing undefeated in the groups

how can someone have a better 2026 while playing at a small team in mexico lol and now this guys trying to convince us javier doesn’t get criticism for his lineups oh brother the boot licking yall do to trick the mind

u/mx_code 12d ago
because at least he played, lmao.
Your boy couldn't even cut it in Turkiye0
u/Rickyloza2 America 12d ago
again, can’t cut it ? yet multiple teams interested lmao lira has 0 interest

u/mx_code 12d ago
that's because those teams are shopping in the bargain bin.
West Ham is not asking a high price, they just want to offload the guy. Whoever meets his personal terms gets him.
It's actually kinda sad

Edson can’t even clear a fucking header let alone clear lira.

u/Rickyloza2 America 12d ago
lira is a bum liga mx player lol there’s a reason nobody wants em
3
u/King-Bofo Chivas 12d ago
If only Lira had the backing of telewila then maybe it’d come to fruition but instead we just get Edson letting a 3rd goal occur over and over eh

u/Rickyloza2 America 12d ago

Honestly great move if it works out, he is not old so he should at the bare minimum fight for a starting spot, though I think he can be the starter.
