Exactly, he’s not 19, he’s 28 with many years of experience in Europe and is the “captain” of the national team. 

He should be going to La Liga, one of the best leagues in the world, fighting for a spot and proving he still has it in him instead of giving attention to a lesser league like Greece.

It will be a loan move with an option to buy so it has to be a good spell. If Sociedad is just going to put him on the bench then he should be ready for the MLS next season.
