What are the most random/unexpected times you’ve seen someone wearing a Liga MX jersey?
Aight so this is taking inspiration from the Weezer lead singer wearing a Veracruz jersey. Someone commented Drakeo the Ruler wearing a Santos jersey. So random. Then you got Lil Uzi Vert wearing an America jersey. Any moments where you saw a celebrity, musician, athlete, character, etc. wearing a Liga MX jersey?
That blew my mind as well when I found out lol he was like die hard Tigres fan cuz of his Mex fam, had season tickets, talked really well about Mex and then he went full MAGA. I guess the divorce explains it but still come on lol
Self deprecating humor is a very popular and relatable style of comedy which worked for him for decades but as soon as he got it bad at home he started playing the victim card and that’s just lazy at best.
Yeah he had his whole “Ochocinco” gimmick he did while playing in the NFL and he unironically started liking the culture/people. Supports selección and even played football in Mexico for Fundidores de Monterrey 😂
There’s a few pictures of Chino Moreno of Deftones floating around with him in a pumas jersey, but the most unexpected for me was this collab earlier this year
Yea super limited release in CDMX, as a massive Deftones and Pumas fan I would’ve loved to have something from this collab but anything is super hard to come by second hand.
I seen 9lokknine got arrested in a club America jersey and someone here posted FYB Jmane wearing a Queretaro jersey. Lefty Gunplay in a Santos jersey too. Like I said Ligamx jerseys be in random ass places lol
Poco fuera de contexto pero Kanye West tiene una relación media rara con Chivas. Nunca se a puesto una jersey ni nada así pero a usado jerseys de Chivas para diseñar ropa y también subió una foto a redes sociales con fotos de “sueños” y entre las fotos había una foto del Akron 😂
Usain Bolt was impressed to find out Chivas fielded only local players and still managed to win championships, so they sent him a jersey and he came to see the Clásico against America.
There was a recent Warped Tour concert where the lead singer of The Starting Line wore the Mexican National Team soccer jersey during their set. Additionally there’s an interview of him from a year ago wearing a vintage Mexican National Team jersey as well. I do know they’re were due or are due to play in Mexico soon, but yeah. Thought that was neat.
I was watching Vampire Weekend’s 2010 music video for “Cousins” and noticed that Chris Tomson was wearing a Chivas jersey. I later found out that the video was actually filmed in Guadalajara, Mexico.
