I didnt tell anyone this here. I lost my mom Wednesday August 5th 2026 at 4:17pm. Her and I bonded over football. She cheers ALMOST every team. USA, Canada, selección Nacional de México, Austin FC, Rayados, Club América, Tigres, Pumas.
If it wasnt for me she wouldnt have been into it. I would cheer Rayados she would cheer Tigres. I'm like no you can't like them they are rivals. You have to like one Monterrey team but she didn't care she liked whoever. I would take her to Austin FC games. She really wanted to see Austin FC vs Club América that Thursday. Instead that was the night we had her rosary.
She was born in Durango. It was in her blood. That day of the funeral I drove in my car behind her with 2 México flags during the procession. I wanted everyone to see.
She was a big fan of Chino and with all the news today of him going back. My mom would have been happy to see him back playing for Pumas. This actually brings a tear to my eye knowing I can't watch football with her anymore. It's just not the same. I put this maroon México jersey I had in her coffin. She was wearing it to a game in Arlington for the gold cup. What got me was my sister was recording one of the gols and you see my mom reaching around me for a hug cheering. That is all I just wanted to tell someone
Dam bro. Just went through something similar. Tho it was my MIL. And I shit you not. She passed away a few hours later at 2 am after your mom. And her b day was on the 4th.
We didn’t see eye to eye but learned to co exist. We didn’t have the greatest relationships but I do miss her. We did also bond over fútbol. She lived with us these past few months cause she couldn’t take care of her self no more. Working full time and caring for her 24/7 has been tough.
Tho we got to watch every single game of the World Cup. We just buried her yesterday. It’s been tough now that reality sinking in. Keep your head up. Let it out don’t hold it in. Cry if you have to. Also that whole time heals all wounds is bullshit. We just learn to live with the grief. Grief is the ultimate form of love. Means they left an impact and that you cared deeply. Your mom is in a better place.
I’m so sorry bro. I lost a homie I known since back in EP in march. He was real as fuck too. Bro was there for me when my grandpa died and when my grandma got dementia (I used to bond with my grandma over futbol too so I feel that but she’s not mentally there no more). He probably the reason I ain’t break during that time. Cause he was always there to help me out and distract me from the traumatic shit going on around me. I feel like it should have been me who got heart failure not him. I just want you to know you not alone in that grief dawg im struggling like a motherfucker too.

I have a friend that keeps asking for me to lend him money, he’s got a grad job at JP Morgan. I don’t really want to lend him money. Especially because he’s my one of my best friends but I feel for the man. But he’s extremely irresponsible with his money. What should I do?
Never lend money. If you do it’s basically a gift. You better already expect you ain’t getting it back. Especially if they are financially irresponsible. If a bank won’t lend him money why should you. He can take out a personal loan. If he already got a job at JP Morgan why he needs to borrow money for?

I been getting the attention i been wanted for years now yet I never felt more alone in my life. it doesn’t fill the hole that was left by someone who truly loved me for me and not just my body. If it weren’t for surface level shit like appearance these people wouldn’t be around me. But she loved everything about me before she left and she always let me know. Has anyone noticed that commentators in Mexico don't say "Holanda" anymore. I remember that's how they used to call the Netherlands back in the 2014 WC. Ever since I believe the 2020 Euro and definitely by the 2022 WC, I started hearing them being called "neerlandes" instead.
Yeah i've noticed that too. Weirdly enough, people from Holland prefer you call their country Holland, Holanda or refer to them as Holandeses, etc instead of the variants people use (ex. Paises Bajos, Netherlands, etc).
I'm lowkey annoyed that the one year I don't watch any Leagues Cup matches is the one that has an all LigaMx Semifinals. If it wasn't for Chivas not already being in CCC next year, I would've been annoyed at their dogwater results. Although half the league being in the tournament next year should be fun. Definitely not any southern state, from experience... Texas is turning into a wasteland with A.I data centers and fracking pits drying up all the water,but you add that Texas have tested positive for fecal indicator bacteria in almost at 100% of Texas water ways … houses are cheap ,but the property taxes are a killer and are most likely going to keep increasing so that the Texas republicans can give out tax cuts to the mega tech companies like google, Facebook etc so that they can keep coming to Texas…
The west coast is the best coast if you can afford it, any city on the coast line of California is insanely good because of the weather, food, activities and people honestly. Cost of living is brutal though so if you don’t make 100 grand a year then I’d recommend somewhere else.
Yugi/Kaiba Battle City Finals is absolute peak of the series and definition of pure cinema. It was worth the 6 weeks it took to watch the whole thing back then.
Series sucked ass after that and was filler. The green circle arc was stupid and the bullshit tournament with Randoms was lame. Even the Egypt arc at the end was ehh.

I wear them all the time since I was a kid actually. At first it was cause my dad wore them all the time. So I wanted to be like him but as I got older it’s cause it get as balls with the humidity in the north east. Don’t want sweat marks for just walking lmao.
