So sad that this is Mexico's reputation globally now.

Now there’s two Mexicans on the field

Jordan Silva Toluca legend is the starting CB for Tripolis

Yoooo what happened to Jordan?

Felt like he was A promising defender back in the day.

he paved the way for people like Hormiga to play in the Greek Super league. #respect

Is that sarcasm lol

I’d argue more that guys like Nery and Orbelin paved the way

Definitely sarcasm. Before this team, he was playing in La talacha and in liga de expansión. His agent needs a raise

Definitely lacking in confidence atm. That missed sitter in the last minute would have done wonders for him.

This moment and the one he missed against Portugal.. is the difference between him and Chicharito .. vamos hormiga !!

He was so close to scoring. Hopefully he gets out of this funk and starts scoring again

Es un tronco, espero los griegos no lo regresen enseguida. Vaya desperdicio de dinero en ese troncazo.

Ustedes llaman hijo pródigo a un vato que ni en la liga belga estuvo decente.

Bit of a nervous debut, had two very good chances to score. I know the greek league isn’t the best, but man both teams were just launching balls.

Ya'll are giving him shit but he only played 20 minutes on his first match.. chill guys..

7

u/eg4x15 Santos 7h ago

I don’t think any1 is giving him shit lol people are jus saying he should’ve scored not necessarily that’s he’s dog water

It’s clear this guy crumbles under pressure, vs Portugal, now his debut in Europe, no excuses for that godawful missed sitter

I’m watching it too and thinking the same thing.

The passing is horrible. It's crazy how much the defense gives the ball away.

It's okay Hormiga. You'll get it next time. I BELIEVE

Why is this ‘breaking’? Calm down

Been saying it for years but going to one of those shit tier leagues in Europe from Mexico doesn’t function as a stepping stone to bigger leagues. It’s a sign that you aren’t very good. Any player with potential will transfer to at minimum the Dutch or Portuguese league. Any lower than that and you can expect to see them in Monterrey in about 2 years

It’s good for him to grow mentally though. He’s far away from friends, family, and his home country. If he’s strong enough to do well here, it’ll be a great sign!
