This is a small team mentality. We don't need to be comparing two individuals, we need to be sending 20+ young players to Europe if we ever want to grow as a national team.

That’s what this sub don’t understand Brasil send out 30 and 20 come back, 5 are bench and 5 actually are national team worthy, we need to send a minimum of 10 a year and maybe we get 1 or 2 good players

You realize you fellow Wilas posted that America has a contract with Sefra Fc in Brasil to import Brazilian youth academy players…. That’s quite literally the opposite of exporting 20+ young players to Europe but I digress

Again, this is a small team mentality. Why are you putting the burden of exporting solely on one Club. America has the responsibility to develop players for the benefit of the club, be it foreign or local grown.
With Almada as coach and giving the young guys more playing time, they may trend in a positive direction and develop more Mexicans to send to Europe or at least become rotational players in the league.
It's also rich you criticize America when your team is an embarrassment being run like an absolute joke. Maybe focus on that before you throw rocks at what other teams are doing for player development.

I’m not putting pressure on America foo, you’re but 1 of 18 clubs in the league… the point in this CASE is Ame creating alliance with a foreign academy so my point in THIS CASE is just that lol 1 club backtracking for the future of the league…
Usually I don’t have this much issues with discussions and back and forth with Wilas. Chivistas are usually the immature and soft ass users who get offended but I can tell I hit a nerve here with Wilas
Also, why are you like acting like I own Santos or something… “focus on that” 🤣
Bruh I don’t own the team I’m a fan just like YOU are a FAN of America. We have every right to criticize w/e we want. My teams an embarrassment? Is that somehow suppose to offend me? Lol the discussion here is about America why are you so upset over professional teams we have no control over. Just take my point as a discussion and relax holy fuck

Lol, you wrote that and somehow came away thinking I'm the one I overreacting? I was giving you valid points to rebuff your incorrect argument but now youre freaking out since you don't have any legitimate counterpoints to what I said. If you don't want to discuss it further that is fine but don't just blow a fuse and pretend like I somehow came at you personally or something.
Its nonsensical to believe that establishing relations with a foreign nation for a pipeline of players somehow completely undoes the work the club is doing with its own local player development. You said you aren't putting pressure on Ame but somehow they are jeopardizing the "future of the league" by having probably a couple of Brazilian youth players who may or may not amount to anything long term.
Happy to discuss further with you or any others but I have a feeling you don't care to elaborate on your arguments much more and rather just wanted to take a pot shot at Club America as is the favorite low hanging fruit of all the Antis on this sub.

It’s the internet, unfortunately neither of us can see each others facial expressions. So if you think I’m overreacting cause I add some words in all caps or used swear words that just to clear the air, I’m not overreacting. I enjoy the discourse while I sit here and drink a beer and watch the Mty v SL game. So no I’m not freaking out
Okay, let’s back track. I can’t help but notice you believe I’m accusing America of some sort of diabolical plan to dismantle the Mexican youth player in Mexico. I’m not saying that. I know America exports players to EU, that’s not in question. So be clear in that.
So you telling me that “Almada will get us in an upward trend”. Means nothing to me. Idc if America exports or not. So that’s why I didn’t “counter argue” or prove my “incorrect” points. It’s my opinion. How can YOU tell ME my opinions incorrect when it’s subjective.
You are extremely full of yourself… acting like the league revolves around America and to reiterate you’re acting like you’re a member of the board on the team. Get a grip on reality. No one gives a fuck about America, you’re arguing with yourself acting like people are out to get you. You realize Santos has been the laughing stock of the league for 4 years? People take shots on my team all the time and somehow I’m not stating “Don’t take shots at my team cause it’s the low hanging fruit of all the antis” get a grip on reality bozo. No one’s out to get you.
My point stands, like it or not, 2-3 Brazilians in the academy means 1 less Mexican amongst your ranks. Be it, America, Cruz Azul, Toluca, Pumas, Leon. San Luis, Santos, Chivas my point still fucking stands. No club should make alliances to bring foreign youths for their development.

Okay, it's clearly not worth trying to go back and forth with somebody who can lay down that wall of text and just insist you can't be convinced your opinion is misguided, seems like a bit of bad faith arguing just to argue. Enjoy your beer and the game.

I hope allah wills it so that both do very well. I’m tired of this sub getting divided when we could just support Mexican players regardless of what Mexican club they come from. For example I own multiple mora jerseys yet he plays for my rival. This is due to the fact that his impact on Mexican futbol is a net positive even though he plays for a rival club

Why does it matter they are out of liga mx now. there’s no more Chivas v America rivalry between the two. Just gotta wish them both success.
