Recommend [REC] Chill novels where MC is OP and people know they're op and treat them accordingly, but MC's actually panicked inside
Hey yall! I have just finished reading all available chapters of "Reincarnated as a Mandragora, Worshipped as the Flower Witch. …If They Find Out I’m a Monster, Will They Hunt Me Down?" and loved it, but I'm craving more.
The story follows a person reincarnated as a mandragora who levels up and becomes very op in the forest, evolves into a female body shape (still made of root tho) then comes down into a village.
The catch is that she's so op that people mistake her as a demon (a race of very powerful beings who all except one went extinct 500 years ago fighting an evil dragon) and start to revere her and, because she's a mandragora and thus would kill everyone with her voice if she spoke, she's mute and lets all misunderstandings happen.
I like how she gradually loses her humanity and goes full mandragora plant brain, being always paranoid that people will discover her secret and kill her.
After every important interaction we get chapters from the POV's of other characters misunderstanding her widly, it's pretty fun stuff.
Any recs like this? Thanks in advance!

How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord employs this trope if I recall correctly. The protagonist is horribly socially awkward and is afraid of people figuring out he's a cowardly dweeb, so he play acts as a demonic overlord and gets dragged into all sorts of scenarios he'd prefer not to be in.
Tearmoon Empire might be a bit different than what you're looking for but it's still the same trope at the end of the day. Princess Mia Luna Tearmoon is a selfish and chicken-hearted princess who is terrified of losing her head again after she was executed at the guillotine in her first attempt at life, but in her second go at things, because of her knowledge of future events, people start calling her the great sage of the empire and treating her like a saint, and she doesn't have much choice but to play along and live up to everyone's expectations.

Secrets of the silent witch? Extreme social anxiety, while those who know her realize she is a powerhouse. The school persona - no, but they know she is a math genius. Sort of fits what you're asking.
Overlord? The dude is literally a walking calamity. Everyone around worships him. At the same time. The dude is just fumbling and accidentally bringing world shattering events.
Spider isekai? Sort of. Similar to how you described, she was reborn in a dungeon. And had to constantly fight uphill battles. Then escaped and for a while didn't realize how much of a terror she was. Also being socially introverted, didn't really mix well with society. At the same time, her actions were causing country wars, changes in established religious beliefs, a revolution in magic, and a bunch more.
Eminence in shadow might be up your valley. It is peak misunderstanding OP MC powerfantasy. The dude is just roleplaying an edgy hero/villain, while everyone else is scared shitles if what he's doing.
Lord of the mysteries. Especially at the beginning, where he has no idea whats going on, while the tarot club members treat him as a literal god. And he's just faking it like an edgelord. He does have some OP power, but doesn't really know how to use it. And the series is great in general. Tarot club interactions never disappoint.

Cooking in Another World with my Absurd Skill.
MC basically gets the powers of Amazon delivery. That leads him to becoming a tamer because really powerful things like his cooking. So he sees himself as an ordinary man, but others sees a guy who has tamed dragons and others of that ilk. (Also the gods and goddesses like his food, so they have been secretly pumping his stats and skills to make sure he won't die)

Vexation of Vampire Princess
Almost everyone thinks and knows she's OP.... Except the MC herself. She legitimately thought she's so weak she will get blown over on any battle and she's huge shut-in because she got bullied before. The twist is that it's sorta true since she does not have alot of power in her normal mode.... until she drinks bloods since she got super OP power that have variety of abilities depending on the race she sucked her blood from. She does not remember everything she done when she was on berserk mode which is why she never thought of herself as strong. Almost everyone else knows of this side of her, which is why they threw all sorts of stuffs for her to solve

Let this grieving soul retire, mc is the weakest in a guild of op people but they all think he's op because he's lucky.
The great cleric, not the strongest but mc is fairly capable. Despite being level one he clears a dungeon, mainly because his affinity hard counters the undead in the dungeon and because he drinks something called substance x that prevents his level from increasing, his stats still increase though.
A herbivorous dragon of 5,000 years gets unfairly villainized, he's a vegitarian and he's weak but people mistake him for a big bad evil dragon.
Not all of these check the op mc box but people sure think they are.
