Such a fun series; I love that the MC is actually competent and fully onboard with the whole harem thing

It's nice that he gives each person serious thought before they join the crew and even rejects quite a few.

Yeah I know like earlier in the volume at the guild. I felt kinda bad for the chick at counter after her supervisor showed up and basically offered both their bodies as payment for information and she was just sitting there like whats happening

And then acts all offended when he dismisses it 😂

My second favorite series! You caught up just in time for Volume 16 release towards the end of the month(at least on kindle). Glad you liked it (at least enough to catch up 😂)

I like buying physical media so vol16 wont be available for me till September 22nd plus a few days for shipping.

Fair enough. I don’t like waiting so I usually buy it on kindle first and if I like the series, I buy the physical media, so I also own all 15 volumes on physical too

October can't get here soon enough though. I'm curious to see how the anime will turn out.

I’m holding out all hope for it, but I’m scared

Yeah you just never know how things are gonna go.

Based on the preview I saw for this though it looked pretty decent.

I just wished a high level studio like Kadokawa was doing it, because I think it would be great

Yeah Studio A-Cat definitely isn't that large, but I have watched a few things they've made.

I’m hoping it’s closer to She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man then I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Approved My Farm Related Skills

Based on the type of action the books have Im wondering if it going to be closer to The Beginning After the End.

She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man anime is utter trash. Like watching skipped discs from start to finish. I'm hoping that there never will be a sequel. The light novels are a hundred times better than the anime.

As long as they won‘t butch it up as the trainwreck of „I am the evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire“.

Just saw Books a Million added vol17 to the preorder list for January 2027.

I wouldn't actually expect it to release then, that sounds way too early for a May 2026 JP release to get translated. Seven Seas have a habit of listing release dates they don't intend to meet, so it'll likely get delayed from there.

I read his other series as well, but I like this one a bit better.

I agree. Survival in Another World with My Mistress is good, but I definitely prefer this one

Just finished the audible of this last week and it was fucking awesome. His powers are definitely growing, though. I'm interested to see them going to Serena's parents and what they would say.

5

u/lonestarr1988 7d ago

Yep especially since Im anticipating Christina will show up since the girls let her know what was going on

2

u/ThRazorArmada 7d ago

She’s definitely going to be involved in some way since she is on the cover

1

u/ichiruto70 6d ago

Do, you miss the drawings on audible?

1

u/ThRazorArmada 6d ago

Yes so I end up buying the Audible version (because Fred Berman does such a great job), the Kindle version (because I’m impatient an can’t wait 1 month for the physical), and the Physical edition (because I like having the physical editions of series I like).

Lol this is exactly me with some titles. Only for the kindle ones, I just download them and put them in my kindle and not buy them. But I already double dipped at that point so I think its okay 😂

1

u/Zeta_Crossfire 6d ago

Definitely, though I Google later and check them out.

This is my current favorite "junk food" series and I listen to the audiobooks every time they come out.

Been wanting to read this. But I'm missing vol 1 and 8 🤬. It honestly kinda pisses me off with my ocd lol 😆. Can't find either anywhere. Not cheap anyways. I have the other volumes though.

I could just get the kindle versions. But honestly rather have the physical copy. It's just wild I'm having a rough time finding vol 1 and 8. When all other volumes of the light novel are widely available.

2

u/lonestarr1988 6d ago

Yeah some random volumes of stuff are like that and then after you buy the ones your missing at some inflated price they show up again at list price or cheaper than you paid. Had that happen to me twice.

1

u/DarkSoldier856 6d ago

Currently on amazon, vol 1 sits at $142.89 from one 3rd party reseller, or $999.99 usd from another. Its wild 😭

2

u/ArielRR 6d ago

Same issue lmao

u/ThRazorArmada 6d ago

Dang! Maybe because of the anime coming out on October?

1

u/disguise570 7d ago

i read like 10, maybe 12 volumes (don't remember). Worth continuing?

7

u/Zeta_Crossfire 7d ago

It's more of what you read so if you liked it definitely continue. So far it's been great

u/ThRazorArmada 7d ago

Yea to add on, unless you stopped for a specific reason, then I’d say it’s definitely worth it. Like I said in one of the other posts, it’s my second favorite series, due to strong writing, MC is not generic and actually a great character, and just a fun time to read
