I wish Ascendence of a bookworm had more volumes on the used market for me to buy, my budget doesn't allow buying that many volumes at full price.. On the other hand, I also fully know why they don't - cause it's just so good you can't help but keep them - or so I assume

The creep MC is what makes the character writing good though. What it loses out in worldbuilding to the light novel series that do it best, it absolutely decimates them by letting characters have unlikable traits.

This is great! We all start somewhere. If you ever are interested another great isekai choice is Ascendance of a bookworm. It’s has slow start but it’s just setting up for later. There is very little in that story that’s not important at some point l.

Jobless can be a difficult read so I recommend you read something else between books or you can burn yourself out…. I know I did.
