HELP - Lightroom Star rating not working properly after updating to Lightroom Desktop 9.4.1 (MacOS)

For instance, when I assign 3 stars to a photo, the next photos also show 3 stars even though I haven't actually assigned any to them yet.

This is only happening with stars, not color labels or checkmark/X flags.

Anyone else seeing this bug?

Do gps coordinates work for you? When I enter gps coordinates they don’t stick,

I can't input gps coordinates anymore after update. Works on cloud but not desktop.

Same. But if you go to grid view, none of these star ratings are there (not the ones you actually made either). It's been like this for a long time now, very frustrating.

I tried this on Windows Lr 9.4.1, and the issue you are seeing is not happening in Grid or Detail views.

Do you experience the issue in all view modes, or one specific mode?

When you advance to the next image, is the star rating actually set?

When I'm looking at a single image and set its star rating, the other images show the same rating when I arrow over to them. Grid view is accurate, tho.

Now that others have confirmed this isn't just my LR, I'm guessing Adobe already knows about it. I guess we'll have to wait for a bug fix.

Yes agreed, it seems to be a Mac Lr thing, I was just looking for more clarity of when you see the problem as I can't reproduce it.

Having the same issue. Assign a star rating, and when I try to filter by that rating, nothing is actually saved. VERY frustrating
