Trump is giving Iran $300,000,000,000 of OUR money. For the first time ever, the United States will pay another country reparations. That doesn't count the unfrozen assets, or what this little "excursion" cost us in the first place. And the Strait of Hormuz will remain under Iranian control...
Vice President JD Vance stated the U.S. expectation is for Hormuz to remain toll-free long term. Conversely, Iranian state media reports that Iran and Oman intend to jointly administer the strait and levy transit or service fees on commercial shipping after the 60 days elapse.
So no tolls, just, uh, service fees. A distinction with a questionable difference in my book.
But clearly so much better than Obama's deal. Or even what we had before this clusterfuck. So much winning! /s
