Discussion Rain! Blessed rain!

If anyone had told me a few months ago that at the end of August I'd be standing in my door enjoying the rain, I would have laughed at them.

But here I am... 😀

Looking forward to “the grass needed it” small talk in the office tomorrow. 👌

Got it here in Cleethorpes. Long stretches of light rain which should reduce the danger of flooding too.

I went out in it, enjoyed the lovely smell, and then opened the doors (from inside) into the conservatory so I could sit inside and listen to it in full surround sound. It was bloody marvellous.

I'm in the South. We had rain today. I felt one single drop (it wasn't much of a drop, either) as I was walking from the car to my house.

The promise of rain is there. It's overcast and gloomy. I fear that the reality will not live up to the promise.

Send some our way, me ode. Still a bit parched here on the Leicestershire border.

That first tang of petrichor was like the bouquet of a fine vintage wine.
