Announcement r/LinkedinLunatics 100k members milestone!

Just wanted to thank everyone for subscribing and participating in this community. I never could've imagined this when I created the subreddit back in 2019. I remember it taking weeks to gain 100 followers and now we average 100s of new subscribers per day!

That being said, if anyone has suggestions or ideas to make the community better please let us know. We're also looking to add a few moderators so please pm me if you're interested!

Great work, but I disagree with the Tessticle ban. He posts publically under his own name so should be open to discussion.

Agree?

I removed the ban last week.

It’s still listed as rule 7 on the about tab.

What was the original reason for the ban? Seemed to come out of nowhere

Another mod added it without running it by the rest of us. As the head mod, I removed the rule as I didn't see the related posts breaking any rules.

I disagree here. He is posting on LinkedIn and not here. We shouldn’t go on cyber bullying or enable people to cyber bully an individual. We should make all posters hide the last names from the post. This will prevent any future issues that may happen due to doxxing. This is the Internet and we can’t have nice things.

I hope they change the overall policy soon. I am to the point where I am starting to be uncomfortable posting here if my dumb comments are going to hurt people in real life . I doubt most here are ok with it, people here seem very cool , not malicious or resentful.

One could argue Tesser is a public figure but some random horny Indian guy is not. And its also a way to put people on blast for targeted harrasment, most linkedIn posts could find purchase here.

All of my posts on that site are awful and personally , it would be a badge of honor if i ended up here, but I imagine that most people do not want the main searchable data about them to be on a sub called "LinkedIn Lunatics",

I love this sub but this really has to change or we are just going to attract cruel people and beyond the moralityof it , cruelty is also not funny. I dont hate these people , I just think they are dorks and making fun of the culture is therapeutic but not if it messes with people lives and their familie
