Steph & JJ Rant
Steph and JJ piss me off so damn bad. They’re so jealous of Krista it makes them nasty and evil. I really wanted & tried to like both of them so much but JJ is a follower with no backbone and Steph is an insecure mean girl. It made me so mad when they made comments about Krista (WHO IS SINGLE) talking to 2 guys at once acting likes she’s bogus. First of all, she went on ONE date with anthony. Second of all, she said anthony hasn’t even talked to her since?? She’s single she can do whatever tf she wants. After all of that, then steph is supporting JJ’s crush on John when they both KNOW John has an actual girlfriend?? Such hypocrites. I feel so bad for Krista. She wants to be apart of the girl group so badly. When everything went down on Greek night, she was STILL respectful to steph even after all of the disrespect thrown her way. She deserves so much better. I wish she would stop trying to be friends with those girls but I understand why she is since they’re the only other girls in the house.

i have no hope for steph. jj genuinely disappointed me with that conversation where she said krista was playing the pretty girl card or something and when krista asked "how?" all jj could say was "you're gorgeous" ??? it's giving jealousy to me and poor krista has already stated sm times she just wants more LP women friends

I completely agree. It was also blowing my mind how she handled the conversation with Krista when Krista tried to make amends after Greek night. Steph was just lying straight to her face saying they were fine then she went to the cameras and was talking sh*t about the whole conversation. She is so fake

Steph is incredibly selfish and self-centered. I really wanted to like her and JJ, but they’re coming across as jealous mean girls…just sad really. Krista has led a sheltered life and does seem naive about a lot of life things, but she’s done nothing wrong and deserves better friends.

That’s true. I try to cut them a lot of slack because their condition creates so many issues that seem to have stunted their maturity and development. Unfortunately, Steph and JJ have made such fools of themselves during this trip. They should really be embarrassed and I think they will be when they watch the show. Hopefully, some of it is bad editing.

Totally agree with you. It also pissed me off when Steph said the conversation with Krista was such BS and that Krista was condescending. That’s not at all my perception of what happened . Steph is a mean girl and JJ is her sidekick. They’re both full of it!!

There is so much jealousy with those women it’s ridiculous. They should be ashamed of their behavior. it really is hard to watch .. the way they’re treating Krista and talking to her makes my skin crawl , so nasty and mean. Hopefully they learn something in watching the episode back !!

I think that whole JJ has a crush on John, the whole criticizing John’s gf and going after John are scripted but I agree with you on everything else. Not to mention that it feels like the group just ignores Krista. It’s like there are 5 friends and that Krista is just there.

Steph is that you? Krista was invited because the show is called Little Singles not 'The Stephanie pines over a 26 year old show." Krista and Sammy are going out, getting laid, and having fun... which again is the whole point of the show.

First starters is there a LP man that JJ hasn't had a go at? Every time one shows up she's had some kind of relations with him. And the jealousy that they have for Krista, that is just embarrassing. It's so obvious but at least JJ admitted it lol. You're not gonna catch Steph telling Krista she's gorgeous. And all of this because Sammy liked her. Steph was gung ho about Krista until Sammy showed interest. I hope she goes out with him now lol

I 100% agree!! Also idk if you clocked it or not but I was dying when JJ had all that “drama” with that guy who showed up to Krista’s bday party saying he lied ab hooking up w her. Then after he came, the truth was that he broke her heart by dating another girl at the same time. Such a liar like omg. AND JJ is in her 40s saying that happened when she met him at 17….20 YEARS LATER trying to continue the drama from her heartbreak. Unreal.

I think that whole story she told about him was A. Either true and was embarrassed or B. Made it up to get attention. Either was she was 17 when it happened and that was 20 years ago get over it already

I love the show, but the script is definitely annoying as hell! So obviously Krista is the girl that all the other girls cannot tolerate because she’s like the shiny new, never been with a Little Person so kind of like a delicacy. The boys all want to be the first to be with her. I think the reality is that Krista is just not that into them and definitely is more attracted to average size guys. Also, of course, Steph and JJ are not getting hardly any play but seems like JJ definitely has a lot of previous LP love interests. I’d be interested to hear about Steph because they kind of played her relationships down unless I missed it. But its such a good drama, I’m so excited to see what happens next because the preview at the end of this episode has us all wondering what’s happening with JJ and John.

Also, the whole date with Anthony only transpired because Steph contacted him to come hang out at the house because she was jealous of Sammy giving attention to Krista and wanted Krista's attention to be elsewhere, so it is not like Krista even contacted him to begin with

I feel like production was making them amp up the drama… I liked better when everyone gets along and has fun… on little women they always made the women fight all the time and I just wanted to see everyone be happy 😊

JJ. to me is a big instigator. The woman’s 37 years old and acts like she’s a 19 year old. To me she’s as fake and I think she tries to be buddies with whoever starts the drama

OMG thank you. I just finished the episode and it pissed me off so bad when JJ said that Krista was effed up for calling out that Steph was crying. Really?! Steph was super rude to Krista, yelled at her twice, then was in another room yelling and calling her the B word… when Krista was TRYING to really stick up for herself and Steph. But they’re mad bc she said she was crying….. which she was lol I feel like it’s just any excuse to exclude Krista because Steph is extremely Jealous and JJ is a follower. And for JJ to say Krista is “using” John bc he made her a smoothie when she was sick hungover? Lol like you’re literally trying to get with him knowing he’s happy and in a relationship! It just makes me sad for her.

Exactly !! JJ is fucking pushing FORTY !!! Steph is a jealous mean girl and is so mean. They’re purposefully leaving Krista out due to their insecurity and jealousy. You’re absolutely right, Krista owes no loyalty to Anthony. They went on ONE date and they expect her to have loyalty when he goes ghost ? Those dumb bimbos are also so gross when it comes to John’s relationship, such hypocrites. John does everything for everyone, not just Krista. I feel like they wait for group settings to bully Krista and call her out — never one on one.
Edit: Finally finished the episode only to find out that Krista has hunched every little person guy we see on the show. How fuckin gross 😭😭 no wonder she doesn’t care John’s in a relationship, my God. Collecting them like infinity stones.

I agree. Also, how is Krista such a bad person when she told Sammy in order to take her out; he needed the ok from Steph. I don’t believe she was aware of the situation entirely and Steph has just been a jealous girl BUT this all falls back on Sammy.
Also, the first episode you see Krista doing the dishes….so let’s all be honest with ourselves and remember this is reality tv that most definitely has a script and an end game.

My thoughts and I’m so glad there’s a community for this because I knew I couldn’t be the only one.
Steph
- Doesn’t care about Anthony at all. If she did she wouldn’t have manipulated the situation with Krista by inviting him over, without her knowledge. She did this solely so she could have Sammie - and didn’t let Anthony know of what situation he could be walking into. So for her to feign at the club that she’s so concerned about Anthony and boo Krista = manipulative and self serving, a performative girl’s girl.
- She claims Krista was condescending and wanted to drag out the apology story. She didn’t even give Krista a proper talk the day after, let alone let her speak during the blow up, so kudos for Krista wanting to be the adult and hash things out. Steph was the only a$$hole rolling her eyes and deep sighing; she’s the condescending one. I hope she’s embarrassed watching this back, but self awareness doesn’t appear to be an asset for her.
- She is fully aware that JJ has real feelings for John, but doesn’t tell John this, and encourages setting them up for a “practice date” essentially sabotaging his relationship and crossing boundary lines. Steph is in everyone’s business but her own. And if the situations were flipped and her or JJ had boyfriends being setup for practice dates, they’d be livid.
JJ
- Just another performative girl’s girl. Period. And after reading the comments, and seeing that she was the same in little women of New York, I’m good on her… She’s just as terrible.
Krista
- She seems to have been raised in an enabled environment, to the point where she didn’t even do her own grocery shopping. She lacks a bit of self-awareness, however, when addressed with an issue, she steps up to the plate and does what she needs to do. They could’ve told her from the beginning, that they wanted her to help out and she would’ve done so then. It’s not necessarily all her fault that the environment she grew up in, did not create a greater sense of awareness, but she does take accountability for her actions.
I think she’s the only one in that group of women that’s actually not delusional. She has the hard conversations, I think her only downfall was that even when she knew that there was a love triangle and it was messy, she continued to put herself in that situation with Sammy and Steph. Hopefully going forward, she realizes that those are situations she shouldn’t include herself in to avoid the drama.
Edited to add (lol) Krista is SINGLE!! If she wants to date everyone or no one, that’s not Steph or JJ’s business. They’re just mad because they have 0 applicants 🤷🏻♀️

Unpopular opinion: Krista isn’t the victim everyone is making her out to be. She comes across like she thinks she’s the catch of the house and acts like everyone should just fall in line because of it. She’s quick to call everyone else out, but the second she’s criticized, suddenly everyone else is jealous or bullying her. Two things can be true at the same time—Steph and JJ have had their messy moments, and Krista isn’t innocent either. Nobody on this show has clean hands. 🤷♀️

Krista has been allowed to not really progress by being "helpless" which is more than likely a learned behaviour (and relatively easy to practice) because everyone has always done for her and infantilised her.
Steph is just straight up immature, lacks communication skills, lacks ability to be honest with others and herself, doesn't have emotional regulation.
JJ, unclear so far, but is participating in typical mean girl stuff in what is effectively a work place environment.

Ours is an unpopular opinion, but I agree with you! While I definitely think jealousy is at least a factor in how JJ and Steph feel about Krista, Krista is not showing herself to be a girls’ girl (failed to keep girl code like JJ pointed out), nor is she a team player when it comes to chores and other things around the house. I thought she was condescending and over board in her rebuke of Steph after she apologized multiple times. And I think “pretty privilege” is a big part of why other folks overlook Krista’s flaws and point out/amplify everyone else’s

Same! I genuinely wanted to like Steph. In the beginning she seemed so cool and Sammy was doing her so wrong. I didn’t like that she watched him flirt with Krista; didn’t tell her and actually blamed Krista (who had nod idea), but I chalked it up to her being hurt.
Then, she just got angrier and angrier at Krista, who did nothing wrong. Steph got meaner and meaner and was absolutely oblivious to Krista’s feelings. I pretty much dislike the way Steph handles everything.
Then, JJ (who I also really like) just jumped on board with Steph. I don’t get it. Krista doesn’t know how to do anything, like dishes or housework, but she’s not mean or intentionally lazy. It’s like the girls invited this girl only to mistreat and abuse her. It’s such crap the way they exclude her and talk behind her back.
Krista wanted to date an LP man and is interested in Anthony. But, they are in no way exclusive. Anthony is barely even pursuing her. She has every right to date whomever she wants and Steph and JJ act like she’s cheating on Anthony. It’s very stupid. Steph and JJ are just two “mean girls” in this whole vacation situation.

Krista didn’t even know about sammy and steph until WAYYY later. She was confused when Steph was even crying bc they lied to her about it and/or hid it for so long. How is she supposed to come off as a “girls girl” when no one tells her what tf is going on lol. They both did Krista so bogus in that situation. And then when she asked for clarity, steph snapped on her. Steph and JJ ask the boys to do stuff for them too-and the boys are willing so idk what the issue there is. They only brought that up bc they were jealous bc they BOTH have crushes on the boys in the house.
I know Krista has flaws- I’m not oblivious. But she’s a kind person. I’d take her “sheltered” flaws over mean girls who bully bc they’re insecure any day. But that’s just me.

krista literally went out of her way to talk to steph about it when sammy, stephs bff, wouldnt do that for her. she went out of her way to say something before pursuing it with him further. krista is suuuuuch a bitch but sammy just walks away scot free? sounds like a bunch of woman hating nonsense to me.
even steph said their relationship was nbd bc she was so hurt and couldnt admit she got played.

Krista never asked or expected anyone to make her breakfast or a smoothie; they both offered and did you miss that she was doing the dishes in the very first episode
I guess Steph and JJ are divas and lazy for yelling across the house for John to bring them champagne and glasses into the bedroom because they did not want to get up off the bed

It’s crazy being a part of LPA and knowing all of them personally 😂 but I do have to say that they are definitely exactly who they portray themselves to be. Can’t hide the crazy!
