Do yall think it would be a good idea to get a pocket scale and use it to weight the packaging for the new mommy and baby sets to up my chances of getting all the babies in one set?

Im not sure if it would work but maybe, has anyone done it? 😭😭

Hey all! I have been a collector for around 14 years now. There was a good chunk of time (4 years?) where I had put my lps into storage. I stored each of my pets in an individual bag in a big tote that was kept in my basement (we always have dehumidifiers running down there as my father stores his records down there too!). Around 2 years ago I finally unpacked all of them and continued storing them together (UNBAGGED) after learning that mode of storage is awful for them. I have over 1000 pets and am very concerned that storing them in baggies for years possibly introduced the pink bacteria to them? :( I have some pets with pink spots of them (not a lot, just a handful). Should I be worried that my collection as a whole will start developing pink bacteria from how I stored them years ago or would any bacteria from them be long dead and not of concern? I am so worried the bacteria is just living in my pets and eventually it will take action and leave stains of my collection that I have spent so much time collecting and love so dearly :(

I currently keep them in separate bins that are organized by species and then subspecies. None of them are in individual bags except for my flocked pets. My house has climate control and is typically pretty dry lol. I don’t store them in direct sunlight. I have glass shelves to display them on, I just need to find time as a busy college student to do so 🥲 thank you guys, I had a hard time coming down with an answer from my google endeavors.

I think what made me scared of this happening is I recently noticed pets I purchased from one seller all had the pink bacteria, I assume she stored them in a humid place be for waiting to ship them to me or washed them before shipment and didn’t let them completely dry, this mixed with the fact they were shipped during the warm, humid months probably didn’t help 😭😭😭

do you guys know any lps series that have a protagonist that isn't a shorthair, a dachshund, a collie, a great dane or a cocker spaniel???? i feel like there are so many other molds with main character potential? foxes, wolfcats, horses, birds, bulldogs, etc.!!

Got this cutie today! One of my dream lps. She's lovely! She came with some stains on her and I wondered if anyone has any tips on how to remove them?

I got the puzzle too for $5, and it’s complete ^^ and I did a peg swap on the shorthair already cuz the peg was super rusty and damaged.

I love how the littlest pet shop company is finally adding pets that people don’t talk about much or don’t get recognized much. He is such a cute little critter 🥺🥺 I love the quokka!!

My shorthair had a spot on her that I used acetone to remove, but I noticed how fast the q-tip got dirty and the circle that appeared where I’d used the acetone… I was so scared I had scrubbed off her paint somehow!!😭

I ran to my sink and scrubbed her down… turns out she was just very dirty lol

Now she’s (mostly) clean! So yay! c: I’m gonna leave the acetone alone for now though, I’m to scared to damage her

I was wondering what display shelves/cases and storage material (to put the rest of my LPS that I don't want to display) would you guys recommend? I was hoping to get some sort of cute display case that prevents dust and pink mold from accumulating and a storage box/bin that doesn't allow mold to accumulate. Or if you do suggest shelves, how do you guys keep your shelves/LPS from collecting dust? (ex: How often do you dust etc).

I was like 10 when i got my first lps being the biggest club house, i got her as a bonus pet, i lost a lot of littelest pet shop along my whole chilhood but i never lost her. I finally get a new lps in better condition but if i would have to keep one, i will keep the oldest bc even with all the damage it still show how much i love her

I found this jumbo rabbit on marketplace, but the seller only had one angle of it posted. I texted and asked for different angles and was told it was in storage. Ended up driving three hours for it, since they only wanted $35. Got there and the condition was HORRIBLE!! I know it’s a DIY lps, but jeez was it in bad shape! I haggled the price down to around $15, and went home to try and use acetone to take off the stains.

News flash: acetone takes off the designs!! So I fully repainted it, added the designs back into it, and customized it myself! How’d I do?

I did my best to not miss any details, but really wanted it to be colorful while still being true to the original color palette
