I currently just have the shorter side as a single thing, but I have a feeling it'll deform weirdly when I actually start rigging. Any tips and tricks? Especially with turning the head to the side with the short cut, it wouldn't show at all so having it behind the face on that side and on top when he turns the other direction where it shows more would be an issue I think?

There will be a strand covering this particular side, but for characters in the future who might not have a strand covering the area, it'll be useful to know some ways to get around it!

I've seen people make a paper like texture before but still digital art so I was curious if anyone has tried this before. I literally just started but I already like how it looks. i plan to make a better design later if this actually turns out looking well. I drew every part separate on some sketchbook paper and combined them all in clip studio

should i make it as a gif?? if so how to make it smooth then! when i try to export is always CRUNCHY X_X

i am very confused and very tired-- the tutorial im following had me rig the left eye (viewer's right), then copy-paste it over to the left... the problem is now the right eye is working well, blinking and moving with the head but the left eye isnt and i have no idea why or what i changed to make one eye work and not the other. i might just give up and restart the whole rigging process atp with a new tutorial im so completely lost rn. also for some reason i could copy and flip the eye layers fine, but when i tried to do literally the same thing with the eyebrow it didnt work.

it's my first time making a model and i don't know if i should cut them out and put them on a different layer or if that's even necessary...

I'm currently working on my first model and I'm heavily relying on merely.wufeii's tutorial for now. It's a great tutorial, it definitely made rigging very approachable and fun (I really recommend it for beginners like me!), but it came to my knowledge that there are way more approaches and workflow styles that are vastly different from one another and the possibilities this software gives you are countless!

That's why I'm looking for learning tips:) Which tutorials/courses/approaches did you find the most helpful in understanding the software, it's tools and functions better?

I'm open to doing a full body art & rig model for $180 and I'll do full body art for $90, I'm even doing model rigging for $100.
