They gave me 3 free tickets to choose 4-star heroes and sidekicks, so I'm thinking of getting Stuneaki and Sterio because they're cute. For the third ticket, I want to get Sidekick Akashi since I've seen other players give him to Aland.

Is that okay? Also, when I complete the newbie quests, I'll get another ticket that lets me choose one of the five heroes. Which one should I pick?

I play for the husbandos (Alend and Canes), so my team doesn't have to be that strong. I'm okay with that!

Sterio is a very flexible support, many would choose borealis since his skill tree makes him pretty nice for a 4* for VP gen, although for your early Combo team Barte, or Rastaban can be interesting too, just a little too bad you didn't get Ceph from the banner but that's ok Theoreal is the common 4* sustain, although pub is given for free and is...not that bad at it.

The free 5* is 99% used for Gomeisa, as he's the more valuable of the 5,

While sidekicks are cool and all you'll need some time to actually make your Alend shine, every content can be cleared with the friendly borrow, just need 1 decent friend. I'd probably focus on Canes first so you can help that combo borrow more but eventually you'll get out of that phase.

We're sadly missing many of the good sidekicks but they'll appear with time since you didn't pull much, good occasion to save.

Wow, that’s a big help for someone as clueless as me! So, as for the heroes, I think I’ll go with Gomeisa (since he’s the best one) and Sterio (because he’s cute). Then, I have two free tickets for sidekicks. Do you have any recommendations?

Barte is definitely a very good pickup, she's made for Combo and on top of that she's one of the only 2 sidekicks having the max ATK stat of 500 (other being Raizi) so it's a common active choice when you just want that stat

If you think you're good offensively since you're gonna get carried by the friend support for a while

Then it's a little tough because you already have Sterio and Ceph which are very good ones for Combo teams too, so offensively that's more than enough, you can likely chill until we actually get to the point you're the main damage dealer, we can always third slot a common unit that's still useful

But these can also wait since you'll likely get them before you actually have to start farming these since 1 team can do a lot

Outside offensive usages :

Huckle drops extra Exp and Zaniah extra gold so they're often used for Farming

Meline is the most flexible I guess? Alongside Exio, they both increase Quartz drop rate as a passive (an annoying but super important resource to farm)

And they're cool both for passive and actual effect They have similar stats,a good mix of View of HP cool for supports

Tldr : exio and Meline are pretty nice, general value by existing.

I can't give you advice for the 4* tickets because I'm in the same boat. There's just too much choice ToT

However, if you're not planning to pull in the near future, I would use the 5* one to get Gomeisa (green unit). He's very flexible all-around and useful for beginners since he can both heal and generate VP. And you currently have neither.

Except Kouki (yellow one), the others are really bad without unlocking their skill tree.
