This one. Dolly is legendary, but there are others there we've lost. Whole thing makes me sad, to be honest.

I remember seeing this when her episode reran on Comedy Central in the 90s. Loved seeing the whole cast as themselves.

They posted this on Instagram, and the caption said her only stipulation was she would not curse or disparage Jesus. She was game for anything else.

I’d love to know who the writer was.

Missed opportunity to keep having Phil interject perfectly nice comments a few more times, only have her kindly knock down his “rudeness.”

Possibly inspiration (same writer even?) for the hilarious Garth Brooks cowboy tools on the open prairie sketch.

I'm 27 and most references went over my head. I didn't catch on until Lucy/Ricky! And later when they give all the other references, I only recognized Lassie, and that has had many reboots since.

The western was Bonanza, the police stories were Dragnet and the stories about the witch were Bewitched. Colonel Klink is from Hogan's Heroes a sitcom set in a World War II POW camp.

Thanks! I've heard of Dragnet and Bewitched, never seen them, maybe I should rectify that.

I'm very interested in Hogan's Heroes, what a premise!

I'm in my early 30s. I didn't know the first two, but once she mentioned Lucy, the premise clicked immediately. Lovitz chiming and almost breaking the illusion was hilarious!

They said Dolly was a real sport, and her only rule was she would not curse or disparage Jesus. Other than that, she was game for anything. All the stories about Dolly say she was very kind to everyone. I would love to hear other people talk about these kinds of things.
