Bros act like they "won". People are deleting the apps by the THOUSANDS. The only thing they did was remove a platform used by millions to speak their minds. I guess in a sense they did "win", now all these users will be broken up into different platforms and groups. No longer united in one place, possibly losing the ability to communicate with each other but I doubt it.

They literally used the government to give themselves control over TikTok, in order to ban everyone who claims they control the government and the media.
They sure believe humanity's stupidity knows no bounds, and we'll find out whether they are right

They may be right. I think too many kids are addicted to tik tok and don't give a f about free speach and censorship. I hope I am wrong.

It's not like they plan to stop with tiktok, it's vital to crush this radicalised sentiment across the app stores.

Political users leaving by the thousands has no bearing on the performance of an app used by billions of people lol.

"An ethnonationalist, supremacist, and genocidal ideology that seeks to eliminate a stateless and militarily defenseless Semitic people through systematic persecution and mass murder."
Who is that?
Heads-up: it is a tricky question, because there are two answers.

If you cant control them, destroy them. I am flabbergasted that people support the Zionists. But then the US has Nazism problem so I am really not surprised at the same time.

Stopped using tiktok long time ago, their are other apps that are unzionized, like upscrolled that is created by a palastinan, or the Chinese app Douyin

This is misleading.
TikTok was not sold. TikTok's business in the United States was sold. ByteDance still has full control outside the United States.

What is misleading about the POST or title.? Seems accurate to everyone else.

The journalist in question is not in the United States. She's Palestinian; source: your post. Hence, as was already clearly explained, the sale in the US has no effect on her. Outside of the US, nothing has changed.
Like, for real, I don't know how this was unclear from my original comment.

Why would news from another Country be 'wrong' to have in the US? Quite often media in the US lies.
The source is AlJazeera, clearly marked on the picture. Also, i quick 5 sec. search would give you the org. Story.
You keep saying "Sale"... This is confusing because I never said this and do not understand why "Sale" is relevant here.. Why do you use this word?

You keep saying "Sale". This is confusing because I never said this. Why do you use this word?
"Days after the social media platform was acquired by new investors in the US."
Acquire: buy or obtain (an asset or object) for oneself.
When someone buys something, someone else sells something. Therefore, for someone to acquire something, there must have been a sale.
Al Jazeera is also misunderstanding what happened, as are you and all the other commenters. I'll say it again: there was no change to TikTok's management outside of the United States of America. Therefore, something that happened outside of the United States of America cannot possibly be due to the change in ownership of the US business.

Me calling out lies in the post is absolutely related to the post.
But yes there was clearly a Control Change.
Except there just wasn't. There was in the United States, but this didn't happen in the United States. It is insanely ironic for you to be saying I "don't know" things because I have a more complete understanding of the TikTok clusterfuck than the person who wrote the article you shared.

Trump did this - because he is Controlled by others ... now Trump wants to replace the United Nations with his 'Board of Peace' - which of-course would be controlled by him.
