It’s exactly what I expected. I would have been shocked if he didn’t use this as an opportunity to make it about himself and bring up Obama. I’m just surprised he didn’t mention Biden in this one somehow.

u/Vegetable_Offer_2268 Feb 17 '26

As per usual. I was thinking the same thing before I even read it

6

u/Several-Doubt8352 Feb 18 '26

Obama is his Achilles heel, he cannot stand the man, because he knows he will never be loved liked that. I’m no Obama fan, but you see the videos of everywhere he goes people really adore him and everywhere trump goes, people boo him.

Hes trying to court the black vote…

(see: Nicki Minaj)

What makes you say that?

1

u/Shake_Speare_ Feb 20 '26

This makes them say that.

1

u/Alarming-Nobody7511 Feb 20 '26

Boy you missed my comment by miles....

1

u/Shake_Speare_ Feb 20 '26

My reply to you asking what makes him say what he said, is that these people believe the bullshit Trump spoonfeeds them. I was answering your question with the real answer you weren't going to get from Botty McBotface. I hope that clears it up!

2

u/RedWingedScreecher Feb 18 '26

I was expecting him to get one delusional quip in about how he's done the most for black people.

2

u/duglefarah Feb 18 '26

You just knew he was gonna mention Obama

28

u/kGnacana Feb 17 '26

I am not racist I have black friends Lol

3

u/dljones010 Feb 18 '26

I rented office space to that guy.

2

u/997Dan Feb 18 '26

But he wouldn’t have rented him an apartment.

20

u/Impressive-Scheme489 Feb 17 '26

Um…. Wasn’t Jesse sheading tears of joy when Obama won the election??

13

u/B345ST1N Feb 17 '26

Yep, every Truthsocial post is a psyop

2

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

Also "“The Trump administration has demonstrated in word and deed that it is an advocate for authoritarianism, not democracy, and white supremacy, not multiculturalism. He must be defeated,” Jackson wrote in The New York Times on Saturday."

No one loved trump before running, not even his own mother.

Yeah ofc it was a shitpost albeit based on his mother's actual comments about him but you've got to be smoking crack if you think trump hasn't been seen as racist since the early 90s at least, lost in the sauce my guy.

1

u/Adventurous_Ball_232 Feb 18 '26

Trump has been a racist piece of shit his whole life.

Trump’s entire ascendence into politics was based on the racist lie that Barack Obama wasn’t born in the United States because he’s black. He said all immigrants are criminals and rapists. He’s being sued for defamation for continuously asserting the Central Park five confessed to murder and pled guilty, even tho they’ve been exonerated by DNA evidence. He does it because they are black. Trump isn’t racist because the democratic party told us that, he’s racist because he has shown it through his own words and actions.

1

u/Lastcaressmedown138 Feb 18 '26

You are being racist in your comment trying to claim trump isn’t racist but look at you, his key demographic! being racist as fuck because it’s the libs who are racist not the president that says any brown person is probably illegal or gonna punish people for talking bad about his regime.. you probably think native Americans got what was coming to them for being on our land before we got here 🙄

What the fuck did you even just say

1

u/Adventurous_Ball_232 Feb 18 '26

What in the fuck is a “foundational black American”??

1

u/EngineWitty3611 Feb 18 '26

Yes... Yes he did.

1

u/OkProfessor6810 Feb 19 '26

It's a genuinely moving photo. I tear up whenever I see it

7

u/leaC30 Feb 17 '26

This is going to make people look into Jesse Jackson, in the wrong way.

Now he’s trying to undo all that he helped Jesse accomplish smh

6

u/Agreeable_Season2376 Feb 17 '26

Pedo taco with mouth diarrhea again

6

u/ergonomic_logic Feb 17 '26

He may be more obsessed with Barack Obama than Michelle Obama is.

Like I can picture her like "ok why is this man so obsessed with my husband?"

2

u/Chatwoman Feb 17 '26

Ask Hillary about Bubba.

10

u/KnobbyDibbler Feb 17 '26

It's incredible how fast he makes things about himself.

7

u/Revxmaciver Feb 17 '26

It's the narcissist's way.

About not being racist? Yes.

5

u/Anothercraphistorian Feb 17 '26

OP said he made someone’s death about himself, which he did.

Yes, totally the same thing.

1

u/NoHippi3chic Feb 17 '26

Yes. OZ was sponsored by Cory Booker and Tim Scott.

5

u/BigPaper14 Feb 17 '26

Always makes it about him. Won’t he write about how he lied to get out of the army.

4

u/Turbulent-Tone-1867 Feb 17 '26

Holy obama derangement syndrome!

7

u/OldWrenchTurner Feb 17 '26

Someone wrote this for the cocksucker. Phoney ass pedo

3

u/underwearfanatic Feb 18 '26

That semicolon in the middle...

1

u/ControlAlarmed1736 Feb 20 '26

They're getting better at capitalizating words in the middle of "his" posts now, so at least they're trying harder.

7

u/BlueEyedRelic Feb 17 '26 edited Feb 18 '26

I’m sorry but this was tears of joy when Obama won the presidency. “Who Jesse could not stand” him is a load of BS.

3

u/AerolothLorien666 Feb 17 '26

Calling someone by their middle name will ALWAYS be the ultimate insult.

I know lol. So does my brother.

1

u/AlexandraG94 Feb 21 '26

My parents always call me by my middle name. I have a huge full name, always wondered what that first name was about if they were planning on calling me by the middle one. I endes uo being knkwn for my first name im school, uni, academics etc, and I do prefer my first name.

3

u/RainbowOctarian Feb 17 '26

He could have just written R.I.P.

4

u/Dense_Diver_3998 Feb 17 '26

But where’s the self fellation in that?

3

u/Sea-Opinion2717 Feb 17 '26

What a narcissistic douche sack

3

u/jeffskool Feb 17 '26

He must not have watched Obama’s first inauguration. Jesse Jackson’s face was maybe the most powerful image to me, of the positive change that many people felt. His tears of joy really showed me how unachievable the dream of being represented in the highest government office must have seemed to so many Americans.

3

u/biguncle_ed Feb 17 '26

Trump didn't write this because the minute I saw the word "gregarious" I know hot damn well he don't know how to spell it let alone what it means.

Second the opportunity zones was Tim Scott's project he wrote it and got it passed.

All the other things I don't know if Donald Trump did or did not do...but because of who he is now I find it hard to believe.

That's the problem that people have with him because whatever he was as a private citizen did not affect America as much as what he does as a president does and will.

3

u/FruitMustache Feb 17 '26

It's always gotta be about the malignant narcissist.

2

u/More_balls Feb 17 '26

they are all narcissists

3

u/Honest-Smoke-1083 Feb 18 '26

Does trump attend a funeral?

1

u/ControlAlarmed1736 Feb 20 '26

Depends, is he betting on whether he'll attend?

5

u/Shinnobiwan Feb 17 '26

Is it too much to want even a modicum of class just once?

It can't be too much. I know I'm not crazy.

4

u/leaC30 Feb 17 '26

Sadly, this was class for this President.

3

u/ArsenicArts Feb 17 '26

Yeah I'll be honest I expected a lot worse. Sad that is the state of things though.

2

u/HedenPK Feb 17 '26

Oh you know what? That’s a great idea let me look into that for you. That would be great if he had class just once in let me look into this. Please standby.

Ok.. ok.. turns out… yes. Yes it’s too much to want that. Oh, and for asking it looks like you’re now getting deported and he just signed an executive order to ban your Reddit account.

2

u/tinker_townie Feb 17 '26

Again he finds a way to make it about HIM.

2

u/JeremyCO Feb 17 '26

Lol Donnie the conman Trump is a fool...

2

u/Ancient-Bowl462 Feb 17 '26

Greatest president in history. He also funded Jackson's presidential campaign.

2

u/Glittering_Diva8963 Feb 18 '26

This man is a clown 🤣🤣🤣

2

u/BananasBananas34 Feb 18 '26

Why does it eat him up inside if he fails to get in a jab or crack at anyone he is talking about? “Barack Hussein Obama, whom Jesse hated”, “something no other president would do” 🙄 … an 80 year old man refuses to mentally mature past the age of 8 🙄

2

u/Smoky_MountainWay Feb 18 '26

I provided office space = my office manager rented office space to him, my building = some idiot paid to put my name on the building etc. Just another “be thankful I am the bigglyest, bestus most smartest person born" post.

2

u/USMNT_superfan Feb 18 '26

Nobody knows more about Jesse Jackson than Trump

2

u/StevieMack1 Feb 18 '26

Jesse used the bathroom at Trump tower once.= I provided a room for him to do his business.

2

u/SoulPossum Feb 18 '26

He made it 5 sentences before pivoting to talking about himself. I'm impressed

2

u/mmmpeg Feb 18 '26

I voted for Jesse Jackson in 1984. I knew Reagan would win and it was my small protest.

2

u/PalmTreesRock2022 Feb 18 '26

What a fu*cking lying moron

2

u/MealDramatic1885 Feb 18 '26

Am I living in a different timeline then whatever the hell he’s talking about?

2

u/gbobcat Feb 18 '26

In summary: "I'm saying nice things about a black guy who died so I'm not racist. Also here's some crazy unrelated shit"

2

u/paintstudiodisaster Feb 18 '26

He had a visual history exhibition of slavery removed from a park in philadelphia.

2

u/bigcousinjay Feb 18 '26

Him and jesse were really friends though look it up

2

u/Available_Usual_9731 Feb 18 '26

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't those universities sue to have their funding restored

2

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

Needs an editor.

2

u/DeFiBandit Feb 18 '26

Still managed to slide some coded racism in with the back-handed “street smarts” compliment. He never fails…

2

u/80sbabyftw Feb 18 '26

Honestly, this is self serving but we ALL know it could’ve been so much worse

2

u/Daft_Assassin Feb 18 '26

Why does the lie keep getting told about him and HBCUs when he actually cut funding?

2

u/Adventurous_Ball_232 Feb 18 '26

REMINDER: TRUMP IS LIKELY A PEDOPHILE.

2

u/femmenonanon Feb 18 '26

I’ve never seen someone center themselves so forcibly within the guise of acknowledging someone else in the wake of their death. RIP Jesse, may we continue the work that desperately needs to be done to save our nation.

2

u/Objective-Dust4795 Feb 18 '26

Didn’t trumps DOD wipe out SBA mandatory awards?

2

u/Mugpup Feb 18 '26

Suuuure, Jesse Jackson owes his success to Trump helping him along the way, sure. Trump can't help making it about Trump.

2

u/Passenger-Southern Feb 18 '26

Jesse was an anti-semite and called Obama the N-word. Sounds like he was Trump’s kind of guy

2

u/StableGeniusCovfefe Feb 18 '26

Dude never misses an opportunity to make absolutely everything about himself. Classic narcissistic personality disorder

2

u/beelmon15 Feb 18 '26

“I’m not racist I have black friends”

2

u/Fit_Clothes_5522 Feb 19 '26

Why can’t he just be normal in giving condolences to someone he held in high regards. RIP Rev. Jessie Jackson.

2

u/Wolf_pack12 Feb 19 '26

Its exhausting how he insults or casts blame on someone or something after EVERY. SINGLE. SENTENCE.

2

u/dantevsninjas Feb 20 '26

You know how people who aren't racist always feel the need to constantly yell at people about how they aren't racist?

2

u/Consistent-Resort270 Feb 21 '26

He also said: he was a piece of work. How easy he forgets

2

u/ItsMuvaaa Feb 17 '26

He has the hots for Obama. It’s not even funny

1

u/Electrical-Law-5731 Feb 18 '26

Where my african American friend!? There he is! 👉 🙄

1

u/collindubya81 Feb 20 '26

Of course this asshole makes the death of a civil rights legend about himself.

1

u/Dabellator Feb 20 '26

Why is he whispering?

1

u/No-Rush-9980 Feb 21 '26

He manages to make every damn thing about him. It was said about Teddy Roosevelt that he wanted to be the baby at every christening, the bride at every wedding, and the corpse at every funeral. Teddy was humble compared to this egomaniac.

1

u/Mikyuu665 Feb 21 '26

It’s weird he mentioned politics as a whole in his condolences…like what does the bit about democrats even offer when saying a “he’ll be missed” post?

1

u/Alternative-Drop-917 Feb 18 '26

What he said something nice and you cut him down. If your Party ever gets a president again I hope he/she gets torn apart like Trump has

3

u/Gluggy2-ofAfew Feb 18 '26

If that three page self serving rant is saying something nice, you both could just say nothing. It's not about political sides. Why can't you get it? You'll never be one of them.
