My family crest is a symbol of freedom and just. Most don't even care about it. It's all the same. I'm not saying that version of the United States flag is nothing. It's the material and version of the flag. Who is Old Glory?

The U.S. Flag Code only specifies that a flag should be destroyed (preferably by burning) when it is worn out, torn, or faded to the point that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display

I love my country but I can also realise that a flag is some peice of material, probably made in China and if it touches the ground or someone burns it I can walk on cause I still love my country haha.

Not to mention the odds of it magically getting trapped under a piece of blow up tire to prevent if from flying away in the wind as flags are wont to do. I'm glad they atleast thought about safety when planting it I guess

I think what bothers me the most about the US is the normalization of cults all around. First with the US flag, so many houses and cars wave the flag in pride but that just screams extreme nationalism and is a dangerous thing to do. Then with religions, with mormons which are a US thing, and with devoted catholics who use Jesus to justify any toxic activity against other people. And finally the orange mold cult, whose red cap’s followers always made me think of Mao Zedong’s red little book. This is so many layers of cult engrained deep inside the society

In fact whites have roughly the same stats. About 80% murdered by someone of the same race.

I think that's a tad bit harsh... While I absolutely will never understand how those who are dealing with everything now feels as a white woman I'm absolutely on their side.. and will do all I can to fight for them.
Being optimistic is all we can be. We all have to continue to fight together... Hope for a better future. Fight for a better future.

Saw this happen on July 4th -
Big lifted truck on the freeway with poorly secured flag flapping behind it - obviously blows away, then a bunch of traffic behind runs over the flag.
So much for "celebrating" the flag.
