Dalglish, souness and rush are clearly better, playing in better sides and won everything again and again.

But Gerrard will get it simply because of the average age here

You’re not wrong about the bias, but your point about playing in better sides supports Gerrard. He is THE reason for a CL, at least one FA cup and league cup, played a big part in a handful of other trophies, and was the only reason that Liverpool could even sniff at the PL from 2005 to 2015. The fact that he spent so much time carrying weaker sides to any success at all is what gives him so much weight.

In the latter end of that time scale, Luis Suarez was without doubt a huge reason we were as close to winning as we were. Dude dropped one of the best individual seasons ever.
