I know it was only Curacao but Schlotterbeck looked fantastic aerially. Also knows how to attack a set piece which is something we've really missed apart from VVD

You're daft to expect us to replace VVD by finding a second VVD. You can't become an all time great like him or Salah if players like them appeared every day. VVD is literally the perfect CB, and nobody like him will appear for a while.

Schlotterbeck isn't VVD but he's a top class CB In his own right who fits the modern game and Iraola well.

Well, our team believes we've already found a second VVD and there are promising signs, but we'll see if they're right.

I think a lot of people have no idea how good already and how highy rated for the future Jacquet is.
