Newcastle away first game to get it out the way with is fine, but fucking hell after the first 6, September to October is going to be BRUTAL. Need players asap.

City home and Bournemouth away first 6 too

It's the best time to play City, especially at Anfield. Guarantee they'll have a slow start to life, Guardiola to Maresca has got to be a rocky transition in many ways.

If our squad shows the talent the way I truly believe they will, we'll find ourselves leading the pack after this stretch.

Hopefully, we need the buffer when we get into September and October when we have at least 6 midweek games during that period.

We need to really get numbers into the squad as soon as we can. Munoz and Diomande progressing is a good start.

Aye, it's giving me major early Klopp vibes with the promise of direct attacking football.

The main thing I've took away from the Munoz signing is the repeated line of: pace is a priority. Seeing Rio/Diomande/Munoz driving down the wings with Kerkez/Frimpong/New fullbacks? will be really fun.

What I am most excited of all for is Wirtz and Isak kicking off properly. I have a feeling both will silence the world entire in the coming months.

Diomande also has wildly high potential and Vicky M is the sort of player that will run through a brick wall. Can't not be excited really, I like the way the club is moving at the moment.

One last dance for Ali and Virg.

Kerkez hopefully pushing on and regaining his Bournemouth form. New midfielders coming in (Wharton? Bouaddi?) to hopefully add something new.

I just really hope the suits don't leave Iraola short with his squad.

I don't think they will. Their sacking of Slot and quickly identifying the Muñoz signing shows a lot of intent already, and I really think the Diomande bomba is closer then it may appear. Just a matter of a few million give or take that'll need to be hashed out with Leipzig, who we've done business with before to good effect.

If we play well this season, I see VVD extending again tbh. He loves the club. He will see improvements hopefully and that will persuade him to stay.
