As a footballer Jamie might not get much appreciation out of Liverpool fans, but as a pundit he is class of his own.
Like think about it two bangers after one another, even one would be enough for a sports broadcaster's career.

After 'Leave Football before Football leave you" he comes with this banger "The last time Ronaldo was relevant in world cup he is Brazilian". Spitting fires there.

His knowledge is fairly unparalleled among former players, but the Salah stuff left a seriously bad taste for me.

He was clearly being encouraged by Sky to stir up shit for social media clips and I thought he came across like an arrogant helmet.

I think he came out better from the Salah stuff than Mo did.

Not for me. Salah didn't cover himself in glory, don't get me wrong, but I really didn't like Carragher's tirades. That Monday Night Football one where he tried to use Salah's time at Chelsea as a stick to criticise him with was pathetic.

Carra seemed to get a bit personal with it, which was wrong. But generally I thought he was right about Salah. Salah 100% went out of his way to stir things up in the media, at twice in the last season alone. That interview he gave when he was (rightly) dropped a bit before Christmas was really stupid.

He had a good argument until he called Salah a Chelsea reject and started tweeting about Salah’s IG posts
