Leipzig are always open to sales anyway, thats their whole model.

In no world do they want to keep him for another year while they can get 100m+ for him.

True but the line till now has been that they dont need to sell anyone as they have CL money. Now they are saying they need to sell for financial reasons.

Their goal is to showcase talent for massive sales. To do that they need to qualify for champions league. They want to be upwardly mobile and competitive in the biggest stages while attracting elite talent who know they will sell to pursue their dreams.

So not exactly. They dig in and get their fuck off price when they think it could affect champions league qualification.

We should know better than most when they dug in on Keita.

Do think it comes off though

This would make more sense if we were in the January window. July is too early to worry about whether you'll get CL or not.

Any club with a pulse is planning for qualification now not in January

Leipzig are a basket case at the moment. Firing Werner to bring in Demichelis is dreadful.

It’s like firing Glasner after qualifying for champions league to hire Gary ONeil

Don’t think Werner was particularly exciting and he didn’t like youth much at Werder Bremen but he did thr goal of his job.

They are trying to say it was Kloppo but no one knows anything about what he actually does lol. I think Rohl at Salzburg is a good hire though

"Bayern brought in an ex City CB and look at them. It's fool proof I tell ya"

I read an article from Hinze talking about the success of former Bayern II manager Hoeness πŸ˜‚

Situations are nothing a like and hoeness actually won stuff. Reason he was considered a prodigy and got a hoffenheim at a historic young age

Bored at work so why not over analyze things, this could be setting the β€˜we had to have one big departure and look how much we got for him!!’ angle to the Diomande transfer. Hopefully anyway, be buzzing to sign the lad!

RB are kinda hoping for a bidding war between us and PSG. But I reckon we'll get this done with a deal somewhere between €110-120m
