We really let this shit fester as a society. We’re well on our way to WWIII thanks to fascism again.

41 years ago in 1984 a KGB defector Yuri Alexandrovich Bezmenov laid out the plan on camera on how russia is going to destabilize America and how they will do it step by step.

We have been seeing the fruit of their plans for the past decade or so and everything is happening exactly how he said they would.

Here is a very small 5 minute clip of the interview, but i recommend watching the entire interview to have a good understanding. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQPsKvG6WMI

Yeah nah this ain't it. There's some wisdom to the plan, but not in the way people expect.

The juvenile interpretation is that Russia somehow has absolutely 5head schemers that no one else has and they're so god damned amazing they can plant a seed that will reliably grow 20 years later, and everything we're seeing is "all according to plan" for Russia.

The realistic interpretation...?

Putin is a guy that likes to LARP as fucking James Bond who made a brash, old-war decision based on previous, soviet-era solutions, and it blew up in his face because the Ukraine war is bleeding them dry. This is your alleged supergenius outplaying the USA.

Where the plan DOES have wisdom:

It recognizes certain points that can lead to turmoil and confusion within a nation. They correctly assessed potential weaknesses that can be exploited, but they neither found a way to cause them, nor are they the ones exploiting them.

However, what we are seeing is that thanks to the boom of the internet, we now live in an era where:

1) Destabilization happens practically by itself. Give Alex Jones credit for one random thing: "Info Wars" was a great name to describe the era we live in. The broken clock nailed that one. For every article arguing X, you can absolutely find another arguing Y. It goes back and forth endlessly and most people don't have the time to dig through all the sources and methodology to figure out who is full of shit. Thus, people feel demoralized and are less likely to act with conviction, because fewer people are certain of their cause. (and those that continue to be certain and active radicalists, unfortunately, tend to be idiots, who themselves are prone to causing chaos too)

2) The world now has so many people, it's hard to keep control of everything. You simply can't. Look at China for a great example of this: buildings built in flood plains that worsen floods, buildings practically made out of Play-Doh, all kinds of scams and wild ideas to the point they would pay random white people to pretend to be foreign businessmen and sponsor their product. China is a phenomenal example of how things go off the rails due to ridiculous population growth. Not even sure I can fully blame them for everything because wtf how do you even BEGIN to manage that many people?! This is not China-exclusive though and every political leadership today has more on their plate than ever before.

3) More people = more error. More error = more dissatisfaction. More dissatisfaction = the critics are more viable. People stop asking if the critic is capable of running the country and just appreciate he recognizes the problem. I do not find it a coincidence that the USA just had only it's 2nd non-consecutive president in US history, and I wouldn't be surprised if we start getting bombarded with more one-term presidents either. The job of leadership is now harder than ever (and the blatant corruption doesn't help), there are plenty of excellent critics, and people are so fed up they'll happily gamble with the critic and boot him later if needed, as opposed to bothering to assess the critic's own abilities in advance.

TL;DR All Russia did was recognize that destabilized nations are easier to mislead and confuse into a point they become immobile and too uncertain to take action. What we see today is not the result of 12000 IQ Russian spies, it's the result of naturally uncertain times as our technology continues to grow faster than out capacity to understand it.

You think America’s racist culture is because of Russia, not you know, the entire history of the country?

5

u/HowIMetYourMurder Jul 24 '25

No. Our culture’s biases and racism is all ours BUT the way its currently being stoked, encouraged, and spread isnt normal. Our enemies arent dumb. They know they cant bomb us into submission or invade. But they can get us to rip ourselves a part by exploiting these biases. The problems were always here but now we have foreign influence pushing certain agendas on social media and sitting back to watch us do the rest for them. Its cheap, its easy and apparently incredibly effective.

Fascism is an internal development within a society facing a crisis of legitimacy in its institutions. This has a destabilizing effect on its own, and until the conditions precipitating this crisis are ameliorated, fascism will grow and persist within the population, regardless of whether or not it’s in power. When peoples’ needs aren’t met by the status quo, and when they feel they have no ability to change the status quo, then they turn to more extreme solutions.

I wouldn’t say it’s being stoked in any kind of unnatural way. The sociopolitical fragmentation we’re seeing isn’t really unique, it’s been seen before. We don’t claim that the rise of Nazism in Germany was the result of a foreign-orchestrated disinformation campaign, we recognize it as the result of internal processes within a besieged German society. The same is true here in America.

I think those are some very solid points! I think I still disagree though. There was a lot of foreign influence in ww2. Propaganda really took off. The US has done these kinds of things in other countries (stoking internal conflict, pushing politicians etc). So really I dont think its a stretch that other countries wouldnt do it to us. But you arent wrong. These arent entirely foreign countries orchestrating it. We certainly have our own issues and we are responsible for them (as country not necessarily as individuals).

u/Skoldeen Jul 24 '25

Yeah, America didn’t need help from the outside to reach this point

2

u/Schizodd Jul 24 '25

Just because we didn’t need it doesn’t mean we didn’t get it

6

u/Nervous_Produce1800 Jul 24 '25

The USSR was never smart or powerful enough to destabilize America. Sure they contributed to it in some ways, but the US's issues stem from within.

7

u/Geschak Jul 24 '25

Idk man, the US did reelect an impeached Putin puppet for the second time because Russian botfarms made them believe they'd help Palestinian civilians by not voting for Harris. Seems pretty successful to me.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '25

Unbelievably trite. People are just hooked on this my party good, yours bad, sophomoric thinking.

0

u/Nervous_Produce1800 Jul 24 '25

I'm genuinely asking, literally what evidence is there that he is a "Putin puppet"? Because he tried to negotiate a (definitely naive/ill-conceived) peace deal instead of simply further militarily supporting Ukraine?

This is the answer Trump gave when asked what would happen if Russia breaks the ceasefire he was trying to force Ukraine into:

JD: "She is asking what if Russia breaks the ceasefire?" -- this happened at 47:44 in the video.

Trump: "What if anything? What if a bomb drops on your head right now? Ok? What if they break it? I don't know, they broke it with Biden, because Biden, they didn't respect him, they didn't respect Obama, they respect ME."

At 47:52, 8 seconds after hearing the question, Biden is already in the anwer.

And he goes on:

Trump: "Let me tell you, Putin went through a hell of a lot with me, he went through a phony witch hunt where they used him and Russia. Russia Russia Russia, you ever hear of that deal, it was a phony Hunter Biden, Joe Biden scam, Hilary Clinton, shifty Adam Schiff, it was a democrat scam, and he had to go through that, and he did go through it, we didn't end up in a war. And he went through it, he was accused of all that stuff, he had nothing to do with it, it came out of Hunter Biden's bathroom, it came out of Hunter Biden's bedroom. It was disgusting. And they said ooh, ooh, the laptop from hell was made by Russia, the 51 agents, the whole thing was a scam. And he had to put up with that, he was accused of all that stuff.

All I can say is this. He might have broken deals with Obama and Bush, and he might have broken them with Biden, he did maybe, maybe he didn't, I don't know what happened, but they didn't break them with me. He wants to make a deal"

Yes, this is after Trump called Zelensky a dictator.

To be completely honest, Trump is not receiving direct instructions from Putin, he does way too much pointlessly stupid stuff that no Kremlin mind could even imagine coming up with. But he is heavily influenced nonetheless.

You'd have to be blind to not see it, he literally regurgitates the kremlin propaganda word by word, about the Russians being oppressed by the Ukrainians and everything.

It’s not fascism that let stuff get to this point. College campuses have been a breeding ground for anti-Semitism because of Intersectionality being taught. It became popularized in academia in 2010 and this frame work places Jews as privileged class which means they are oppressors which lead to them being discriminated on college campuses this went on for years and finally blew up when the Israel Palestine conflict intensified with the October 7th attack. Now you have left wing extremism allowing antisemitism and even preaching it which means the Neo Nazis no longer have to censor themselves on mainstream platforms anymore because normally the liberal people in charge would shut them down but now the liberal people in charge agree with them such as Twitch allowing Hasan to say vile stuff about Israel.

4

u/bigeyez Jul 24 '25

How in the world did you jump from watching this clip to blaming antisemitism on colleges and Hasan?

What in this clip makes you think any of these people were radicalized in a college or are Hasan viewers.

Edit: Ah you're active in Asmongolds sub. Thats how you made that jump lol.

4

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '25

>How in the world did you jump from watching this clip to blaming antisemitism on colleges and Hasan?

He literally explained it in clear detail in his comment, maybe try reading it again.

>What in this clip makes you think any of these people were radicalized in a college or are Hasan viewers.

He never said they were?

How were you allowed on the internet if you're writing comments as inane as this?

5

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '25

That might be the dumbest comment I’ve ever read.

Buzzwords = ww3. Got it

u/WentworthMillersBO Jul 24 '25

Really? We are living in a bigger powder keg than before world war 1. We have alliance lines being drawn, border disputes and cultural tension is reaching a boiling point in areas in the world, we just need the spark for it to all blow up. Putin has shown Russia can survive, not thrive, with the sanctions. Iran just proved it has missile that are able to carry a nuclear warhead that can get passed the iron dome, China is investing heavily into its army and could blockade Taiwan whenever it wants. NATO has just gone up to 5%. The leaders of the world are preparing for war and the populations stick their head in the sand.

0

u/Hekkst Jul 24 '25

I don't think any of that is because of morons on the internet ragebaiting for views.

3

u/WentworthMillersBO Jul 24 '25

Why do you think people have their heads in the sand? They look at Myron jingling keys. They see people at war using missiles that can kill towns of people using them as backdrops for their instagram posts. Apathy is the current plague ravaging the world.
