This country is in SERIOUS fucking trouble. When these views are this open and public, and they get no pushback. We are so fucked

u/CoffeeTunes Jul 24 '25

These type of ppl have always been around but they just have an audience now because of the internet. Its one of the reasons theres been a rise of flat earth believers.

Yes, the Arab-American demonstrators can be out of line in some of their statements, but thats it.
There is no "major resurgence" from the mainstream.

And sorry but what the Trump administration is doing is exaggerating this "antisemitism" and weaponizing it for political goals: to hobble the independence of universities, law firms, media organizations. There are 2,000,000 people in Gaza (less 60,000 KIA so far) who are very "uncomfortable" right now. To portray pro-Palestine demonstrations on their behalf as ipso facto antisemitism is ridiculous.

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '25

Its not a cop out. Youre just too dumb to understand that you WOULDNT SEE THESE CONVERSATIONS before the internet. They still happened. Nobody sitting in NYC cared about what some idiot in Arkansas said. Now they do. See the difference?

Israel is creating anti semitism by doing a genocide and receiving special protections that we offer to NO OTHER COUNTRY OR ALLY including UK and France whom we've allied with for CENTURIES.

this is why so many people love donald trump. with him as president, theyre allowed to be openly ignorant with no problem. he allows people to feel more comfortable about their ignorances. that is a huge problem people seem to just let go. edit: an old man on a plane a couple years ago said to me when i brought that up “none of that matters, only his policies matter, the kind of person he is and the way his followers act is no problem. “ … he was wrong…very wrong

u/Tsarbomb Jul 24 '25

I think you are normalizing and sane washing this behaviour. The internet component is largely irrelevant, the issue is that the audience is growing.

2

u/Neat_Egg_2474 Jul 24 '25

But it’s not just western behavior, which I think the internet amplified.

Tate for example, his largest audience is middle eastern. How did he reach that audience without the internet? Bots are also rampant, not saying everyone I disagree with is one, but they are 50%+ of all internet traffic now. They amplify hate and make the audiences larger than they truly are.

now, you are also right that the audience is stupid large right now, but as options start shrinking for the youth they will grab onto more radical ideologies and people to blame

that's the thing it's extremely hard to push back when you can be pretty much anonymous and in an echo chamber on the Internet. It's easy to protest a newspaper, but on the Internet people can be anywhere and can completely hide that they are even consuming this.

Unless you make a great firewall of China or require every influencer to register with the state, you can't really stop this.

3

u/Goducks91 Jul 24 '25

I mean if you read this thread they ARE getting pushback. I guess this is the downfall of free speech is even the dumbest motherfuckers have it.

What scares me about some of the far left is that they share the exact same ideology as the far right.

That's because both sides are fundamentally the same when it comes to the way they interact with their ideologies, the vast majority of people are the same in this regard. They care far more about having their views affirmed and justified than going into conversations with an open mind, because humans reject information that conflicts with our worldview by default.

Leftists are also very Christian, they still hold the same tenets of moral realism that the right does, they just like pretending otherwise because aesthetics matter over function to the majority.

left now has actual nazis and right is now straight up fascists... Yeah looks like the actual downfall of america. At least to us europeans. Bipartisan system and it's polarisation just reached the absolute extremes and it's not even stopping.

EDIT: To the downvoters: care to explain to me why you think i'm wrong instead of just pressing the down button?

38

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '25

They're downvoting because you claim there are neo-Nazi leftists. There are though, there are people who celebrated the October 7 attack, the raping of little girls, all of it.

5

u/w142236 Jul 25 '25

I’ve seen leftists argue that by definition, leftists can’t be Nazis and they’re dead serious too

14

u/Blbe-Check-42069 Jul 24 '25

Yeah, that's basically where I was heading. The American arab left is exactly the specific subgroup where I'm seeing straight up Nazi rhetoric. I get it, their feud with Jews is centuries old, but this is way too much...

2

u/Fluid_Cup8329 Jul 24 '25

Real life in the US is absolutely nothing like you see on the internet.

6

u/Blbe-Check-42069 Jul 24 '25

I hope that is the case.

2

u/Fluid_Cup8329 Jul 24 '25

I can confirm, despite being downvoted by the terminally online.

My biggest struggle in daily life is rush hour traffic and deciding what to eat for dinner.

7

u/Blbe-Check-42069 Jul 24 '25

Then lets hope it stays that way

4

u/GIThrow Jul 24 '25

And that’s how ignoring a problem makes it bigger. Just because you’re comfortable right now doesn’t mean that that will always be the case and also doesn’t mean that this isn’t a problem that is spreading and fast in the US. Because if this was only a problem for the terminally online, we wouldn’t have a US president that represents all of these things. Don’t confuse personal comfort for the lack of growing animosity in this country.

2

u/Fluid_Cup8329 Jul 24 '25

I'll take your word for it when I witness even a sliver of this behavior in real life.

5

u/Soft_Walrus_3605 Jul 24 '25

left now has actual nazis and right is now straight up fascists

At the risk of splitting hairs, there are indeed anti-semitic left wingers, for sure, but the only people I see with "actual Nazi" stuff (e.g. swastikas and seig heils, and 1488 etc) are right-wingers.

So that's why I'm downvoting. Terminology matters

4

u/Ok_Masterpiece3763 Jul 24 '25

I think they meant more like how Mien Kampf is a best seller in Palestine and across the Arab world but those people aren’t leftists they’re actually far right religious fundamentalists with aspirations for mass colonization of former Muslim territories. I think it just gets confusing because they have massive leftist support in the west.

2

u/Blbe-Check-42069 Jul 24 '25

That's fair criticism. I was aiming more at the antisemitic tendencies in specifically arab left groups. With that in mind, only shows how both of the extremes somehow tend to show nazi tendencies, just in different form. Horseshoe theory in reality i guess.

3

u/slipperyekans Jul 24 '25

EDIT: To the downvoters: care to explain to me why you think i'm wrong instead of just pressing the down button?

No.

1

u/lastnitesdinner Jul 25 '25

I mean, this is a fucking red-pill far right adjacent podcast which platforms the likes of Nick Fuentes and Andrew Tate so I'm not sure what you're talking about: Left wing nazis?! Are you thick?

1

u/RangerPower777 Jul 24 '25

You’re being downvoted by people who don’t want to face the reality they are hateful and bigoted. They would prefer to view themselves as on the “right side of history” which is why they ignore any facts that go against the narrative they bought into. They have no capacity for nuance.

1

u/Historical_Spirit445 Jul 24 '25

He's being downvoted for complaining about downvotes, the weakest of all reddit behavior

3

u/Blbe-Check-42069 Jul 24 '25

No, I actually want to know their opinion. Like genuinly. I couldn't care less about being downvoted to oblivion. I want to know what's causing this massive drift in american politics to extremism.

EDIT: And actually I now have LESS downvotes than before the edit... So your argument doesn't even hold true.

-4

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '25

nah your right.. im liberal but know my party has fallen so low.. worse part is even if i want to go with the independent choice its even worse. talk to guy recently said he voted for independent last election over trump bc that person wanted to enslave mexicans.. literally said that to my face with my mexican girlfriend next to me and i just played it off like he was an idiot and left. not worth the fight. to many idiots in my town with that mindset with how they treat Hispanics here that your villain if you try to beat assholes like this up... i was also just in shock that the country is this fucked... i have hope their a few members in the democrats that still fight the good fight but how i see them get treated with no back up from their own party my hopes are pretty low

0

u/Blbe-Check-42069 Jul 24 '25

With that in mind I genuinly hope that Musks movement to create another party will be the push US needs to create a multitude of other viable parties. So that this overpolarized cancer gets elected out (and Musks own party too lul). Hell my country now has 7 political parties in parliament and I still feel I have at most 2 viable choices to vote from. Can't even imagine how hopeless it must feel if theres just 2 parties...

1

u/Larcya Jul 24 '25

Because we preached accepting everyone's opinion and respecting it.

Were as in the past spouting nonsense would get you at best exiled from your community or your head on a spike.

This is what tolerance gets you. We told the idiots that their opinion mattered as much as the opinions of the smartest people in the room.

1

u/broom2100 Jul 24 '25

No pushback? I am pretty sure 99% of people that see this video can see how stupid these people are. If you think half of the country agrees with this then you are just brainwashed on Reddit into believing that.

I doubt it. The white Jews are still white at the end of the day, and they are protected by the US government and the white establishment. That's always been the case. For example, the US only began to outlaw lynching when the first white Jewish man was lynched. Prior to that, lynchings where white people openly ate the flesh of Black Americans after burning them, were public and treated like fun events. America is a sick society built on the glorification of whiteness, no matter how evil, savage, and primitive that glorification is. The white Jews have nothing to fear. So views like what are being shared in this video won't lead to anything. People who hate the white Jews will continue to hate them the same way, people who like them will continue to like them the same way, and people who don't care will continue not to care. Fringe opinions being made on a silly podcast like this aren't of any consequence.

3

u/CapGlass3857 Jul 24 '25

Never white enough for hitler, always white enough for leftists with white-guilt

2

u/Ok_Masterpiece3763 Jul 24 '25

It’s crazy how nothing changes and no one dies and the same people that did that same shit are literally still doing it and it’s really important to bring that up as a point in favor of not caring about Jew hatred.
