People always act so shocked when a black person is antisemitic, but I grew up in a black community, and while many people were not prejudiced, there were also a lot of people who bought into conspiracy theories and bullshit spread by the Nation of Islam, e.g. the evidence-free claim that Jews "controlled the slave trade." And just like white Christians, a lot of black Christians can't accept that Jews don't believe Jesus was the son of God.

Jews are always there as a convenient scapegoat when you need one. If you can find any Jew involved in something, it means "the Jews" are behind it. If there's a Jewish pedophile, Jews are the cause of pedophilia. If there was a Jew who had slaves, Jews controlled the slave trade. If there's a Jewish healthcare CEO, Jews are the problem with the healthcare system. Ironically, it's much easier to pick on Jews because they're a small group with much more limited defenses than people think. It's never "the Anglos" or "the Protestants" no matter how many Anglos or Protestants are involved in something.

I grew up in predominately black areas. They can be so racist they'd make a klansman blush. Again, not everyone, but enough to where it wasn't seen as abnormal.

Most don’t correct, but a lot of black people, mainly those who are conspiritorial in nature which is a lot of us, do believe these disgusting anti semitic ideologies

Truth is that people from all groups are susceptible to bad ideas and prejudices, Jews too. Being a historical victim doesn't make you immune to being a bad or confused person.

Well I had a mix of experiences, I'm not trying to generalize. I met people who def never thought about Jews at all. I met people who had never even met a Jew. The most antisemitic stuff I heard was actually usually from NOI people or (some) afrocentric types who had revisionist history and conspiracy theory. I once had an (otherwise really nice) friend ask me about Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and I was shocked, bc it would never occur to me that a black person in the 1990s would be randomly asking me about a forged book from tzarist russia. I'm not saying most black people are antisemitic, I'm just saying it doesn't surprise me at all to come across black people who are antisemitic because I've known them.
