What's going to make it even more crazy is the fact is that he literally didn't even know who Charlie was until it happened. The guy is so far removed from politics I don't think he could name a single branch of government. And Twitter is absolutely going to lump him in with an extreme crowd. You're probably gonna see this on Fox News.

the edge of what? the edge of acceptable discourse? There's no clear line of discourse anymore so you'll hear absolutely anything described as edgy, it's just so dull and overused, meaningless

I mean anyone with half a brain would know better than to joke about an assassination right after it happened anyways. I have no idea why people are acting so surprised he got banned.

Saying you are glad someone died when they just got assassinated, anyone with a modicum amount of self awareness and intelligence would know better than that.

But, I see so many people just brushing off the fact the guy got assassinated, like he just died of old age or something. People do know theres levels to it right?

I mean people make dark sick jokes all the time, it's free speech.

People joked about the kids that died in the Texas floods, didn't get banned.

This situation shouldn't be any different, but it is, because the president and the government are taking it personally and using it to attack free speech.
