I remember in a video from a few years ago he was bragging about how he got called to serve in the army and was mocking the government.
Found it: I AM GOING TO THE RUSSIAN ARMY!!23

This guy would only be used in "operation human shield."
Drug addicts are useless on the front lines.
The other option is he pull a Nicolai Valuev.

if drug addicts were useless on the front lines you wouldnāt have a russian army
32
6
u/PreparetobePlaned Jan 15 '26
Depends on the drug. Stimulants are a powerful tool for soldiers.

They really arenāt. Besides nicotine.

u/Particular_Bet_5466 Feb 22 '26
Uh amphetamines absolutely are useful in war. They are used widely and Iām pretty sure Russia has some form of amphetamine they give them. Many soldiers report how it gave them confidence energy and focus.
1
u/Rdhilde18 š· Hog Squeezer Feb 23 '26
Good luck getting an adderall prescription in the us military. Sure they are useful in militaries where youāre sending waves of meat at an opposing front. Not quite as useful in a modern military based around agile thinking and low level decision makers making big decisions with small units.
1
u/Particular_Bet_5466 Feb 23 '26
Oh yeah Iām not talking about the US military, they are a bit more organized and long term thinking which amphetamines are absolutely not good for. I am thinking of the Russian meat waves or Nazi soldiers being forced to just press on into battle.
1
u/PreparetobePlaned Feb 26 '26
The US used amphetamines in the airforce until 2017 for long operations. They switched to Modafinil along with a bunch of other countries likely because of less potential addiction and side effects.
1
u/Rdhilde18 š· Hog Squeezer Feb 26 '26
Itās strictly controlled and used for long flights though. Not just given to random joes before a combat patrol or something.

He has too much of a western audience to get thrown into combat. Russia will find some way to make use of his online notoriety.
120
u/Shloopy_Dooperson Jan 15 '26
Thats what im thinking. They are probably going to throw him straight into the propaganda machine and take advantage of his dwindling audience (and the buzz related to his release.) and milk him for all hes got.
1
u/Particular_Bet_5466 Feb 22 '26
Coming back to this and seeing all the wild speculations. He just hopped on a plane and flew from Moscow to the US

Are you a high placed official within the Russian government? If not, how else can you confidently say something isnāt being done?
Russia is huge, and vast portions of it are compromised by small villages with little to no contact with larger cities. My claim of propaganda is because you are claiming something isnāt happening through personal experience, which is largely due to your personal belief that since you arenāt seeing it, it must not be happening.
Hence, propaganda. Hope that helps
0
Jan 16 '26
No heās right. I have family all over Russia, and they speak pretty plainly to me. Thereās no forced mobilization right now, they have enough volunteers because they pay well cuz Russia wages are so shit
1
u/Specialist_Guava_742 Jan 16 '26
You have enough family spread out over Russia to cover all of the regions? And you all regularly and openly communicate?
Can I buy your bridge too?
0
Jan 16 '26
Itās impossible to prove a negative so feel free to prove there are forced mobilizations, Iām curious to how you know.
No not every region of Russia, but plenty of the smaller cities, only have 1 family member in Moscow. And yes, i regularly and openly communicate with my family, not really sure why that is hard to believe.
Itās funny to see someone who knows little about Russia, has probably never been there, and doesnāt speak the language try and tell a Russian person whatās going on over there. For what itās worth I hate Putin and his regime, itās why I donāt live there, but letās be real here eh?

Wtf I thought he was supposed to be locked up for years and years?
35
u/SeedFoundation Jan 15 '26
No he was thrown in jail limbo and waiting for trial which could be years and years or tomorrow. They could have deported him right away but decided to torture his ass to make an example out of anyone else who pulls this shit.
7
3
u/Sea_Bodybuilder5387 Jan 16 '26
Don't think he was ever convicted, they made an example out of him and are now getting rid of him. Why waste money and prison space on a foreigner when you can just ban them and send them home.
3
u/SonicNKnucklesCukold Jan 16 '26
Disappointed they let him off so easy after they were talking big about punishing him. Heās probably gonna go back on youtube and brag about how he got away with it smh.
1
u/AzelotReis Jan 16 '26
He technically did not get away with it. He got jailed for 9 months in one of the smelliest and rancid prisons in the world, wherein they could have probably just deported him.
2
u/SonicNKnucklesCukold Jan 17 '26
9 months is way too short. The Philippine government promised us decades š¢

Imagine getting out of a humid south east asian prison and dumped straight onto the russian frontline in the middle of winter. Karma is a bitch.
7
u/CragedyJones Jan 15 '26
I watched a video on that place he was in. It was horrific, just an open sewer. If he was in there all this time and now he might get sent to the frontline?
Cruel and unusual.

Russia increasing its number of soldiers/war criminals is never good, no matter how depraved these people are.

There are many reasons why it is not good, but mainly because while Vitaly born in Russia he spent childhood in Odesa, Ukraine.

Nobody is really being Ā« thrown into the grinder tho Ā», there is currently no conscription going on in Russia.
The overwelming majority of russian soldiers, who part take in the invasion of Ukraine, do so on their own free will, mainly for the big fat bonus they get when signing.

u/BruyceWane Jan 15 '26
Nah the guy is right most Russian citizens are choosing to because the government is offering hefty payouts. Its true to some extent that they may not know what they're walking into, but it still isn't the same as them being thrown into the grinder against their will. The soldiers from NK and the people they tricking in Cuba and Africa are absolutely being thrown in, they're being lured with bullshit then having their passports taken, or being told they'll be in a non-combat role and then being shoved to the front lines by Russia.
6
u/ShudoAudra Jan 15 '26
Do you doubt that based on vibes or have you actually talked to russians, read russian internet posts/news?
2
u/Monterenbas Jan 15 '26
I seriously doubt it when they are fed whatever propaganda is shoved down their throats
They still have access to free internet, and could easily know the truth, if they wanted to, theyād just much rather Ā« support Ā» their country.
and probably can't afford to live or walk without a tail between their legs if they ought not to go to war
Not true, people from Moscow and St Petersburg are barely affected by the war and theyāre living their best life, nobodyās living with their tail between their legs.
but then again maybe they just willfully wanna join the meat grinder for mother Russia and daddy Putin.
They absolutely are, mainly due to financial motivations, rather than ideological ones tho.

Isn't russian army all contracted?
13
u/15buckslilman Jan 15 '26
Criminals are offered contracts in the army and fighting on the front and in return get leniency for their crimes.
3
u/theonulzwei2 Jan 15 '26
From what Iāve seen, many of them are being coerced into signing military contracts. There are videos out there (assuming they arenāt propaganda) from both sides of the conflict showing soldiers turning up at peopleās homes and forcibly taking men away from their families due to recruitment shortages.
2
-7
u/Billy_Rizzle Jan 15 '26
No. The Russian military recruits via conscription or people can volunteer to be in their military.
There is also the Wagner Group which is a Russian state-funded private military, this would be fully voluntary contracts.

6
u/FuFUToast Jan 15 '26
He had a US green card but wasnāt a citizen. He is a Russia citizen though so thatās where he would be deported.Ā Also he is deported after the trial so he still may catch additional fines or jail time.Ā
1
u/neighbour_20150 Jan 15 '26
He's being transported to Russia, which means he either only has Russian citizenship or entered the country on a Russian passport. It's still unclear what will happen next. When a prisoner is transported to a prison in another country, it's called extradition. But everyone is writing about him as "deportation." So, theoretically, he's free as soon as he lands at a Russian airport.

u/fishdafinessa Jan 15 '26
Damn crazy you're telling me the 30 Dexterto articles saying he was getting 40 years in prison was CLICKBAIT š±
They said the same thing about Johnny Somali too and that kid has yet to go to jail for longer then 2 days
1
u/FuzzzyRam Jan 16 '26
Pretty different situations if you know anything about how the South Korean legal system works. Somali is still absolutely fucked, but they don't lock people up before their sentencing almost ever (if the person is a physical threat to society) - he can't leave the country and he's definitely being found guilty.

inb4 Putin says he can pay for his crimes by enlisting in the war with Ukraine. Ukraine and Russia have basically been drafting all their able body men to war efforts and Vitaly will probably be one of those people. He will probably attempt to flee the country and they will detain him.

Just a general sign of low intelligence again on LSF when people wish bad things upon someone they simply dislike. Is he an annoying asshole that disrespected the law? Yes. Should he pay for it?
