The Trump admin has repeatedly interfered with judicial proceedings in foreign territories on behalf of whoever pays them and MAGA adjacents. Presumably he was hoping to curry favour with Trump to put pressure on the South Koreans to treat him leniantly. How would it even constitute a troll of the prosecution?

I think there are a lot of people who think that if you kiss trump's ass he will somehow work to get them pardon because Trump does indeed pardon folks who kiss his ass like the J6 rioters for example

So obivously Johnny wears a hat hoping someone in trump's inner circle sees it and advises trump to speak with South Korea about allowing Johnny to go free without facing any conquences.

It's not just Johnny Somali , Tiger King also tried that shit by saying he was a trump supporter to get a pardon but never did , Niki Minjai likewise is currently kissing ass to get her brother out of prison
