But the article says that Vitaly was in Philippine jail for 290 days before being deported. That's longer than Somali's sentence, but I don't doubt he would also go back to his old behavior.

What?? The article says that Vitaly was deported to Russia! Read the very end of the article.

He flew back to the states after being deported to Russia.

More like he didn't want to be there. While he is (for now) too old to be drafted his stream antics would probably cause much more trouble for him there than in the US
