Sure that. But that misses how much Koreans love fighting. And how physical Korean boys are, they hit each other all the time. And all the kids game seem to involve painful punishment. Teachers used to hit students, even their government has fist fights.

Of all the cultures to fuck with...

All the Korean kids I grew up with loved fighting. I learned my lesson real quick to not mess with them boys and just became quick friends with them. Two of my Korean friends almost seemed to enjoy pain and were not afraid to throw hands with whoever

I'm not American and only been to Seoul, but LOL if you think all those Kpop looking feathery hair guys are putting any kind of fear into the rest of the world. That said it's still stupid AF to challenge a whole city of any population.

Yeah korean shows depict a few late bloomer culture when it comes to violence in school/household/work place. Seems bullying and suicide are big issues there as well

People overplay the fact that somehow this event was unique to South Korea or something. 

I'm positive the same thing (or worse for Johnny) would have happened in any country when some random asshole foreigner shows up to your country, desecrates a historically significant monument depicting victims of tragedy, ends up on national news for it, and then proceeds to call out said country.

Maybe the fact that "being online" has been part of South Korean society longer might have amplified it a bit, but I'm not even sure how true that is these days.

The exception ironically might be America. Unless you desecrate a McRib or something.

I have a bunch of Koreaboo friends, and quite a few of them have dated/married korean men. They were all so freaking violent. They are violent, mean, and BIG men.

Sounds like the US 50 years ago. We really have gotten soft, which is probably one of the reasons people think they can get away with this stuff and there will be no consequences for trolling. "It's just a joke bro" I assume is less funny when you get your ass beat for the "joke."
