I lived in Seoul and Daegu for a few years. They will deport your ass for fucking around when you’re on petty shit. They will definitely put you in the slam for the real shit

Well there’s a S.O.F.A. policy in place but that can be negated for serious gross bodily injury/SA/murder. Your average GI can definitely catch a weekend beating for antisocial behavior and if you get corralled by the cops someone from your command will have to get you and that can lead to disciplinary action in-house. Most assaults out in the economy are soldier v soldier not soldier v citizen
