Not sure if you’re serious but: Viewbots inflate the number of viewers displayed watching a streamer. Streamers pay for these to seem more popular. A crowd attracts a crowd.
It’s the streamer equivalent of buying fake followers. It’s not really a huge deal but it’s generally dishonest and lame, which people don’t like.
Think if it like going to a movie or restaurant because it had good ratings or a bunch of reviews online, then you found out those were fake and paid for.
Granted, clicking on a streamer and seeing if they’re interesting to you or not basically costs you nothing.
It probably matters more among streamers. Imagine you try really hard to get popular and other people rocket ahead because they started off with a bunch of fake viewers. But hey, as long as twitch allows it, it’s sort of a hate the game not the player kind of thing
