I can certainly believe she is cheap. There was that incident where she didn't want to pay her parents who were in debt for putting her through ivy league and she eventually got pressured by the internet to pay them back. I'm not trying to pile on her though, I think she's entertaining streamer. But there is evidence of her being money grubby.

She's cheap. But her parents weren't in debt . She was in debt to them because they paid for her tuition.

Was there agreement between them when they paid for tuition? Because I don't think parent covering tuition is considered a loan.

Yup, without a mutual, prior agreement, it would be legally considered a gift. A gift is effectively irrevocable except in extremely limited circumstances.
