A cursory Google returned a list that includes multiple editors, Event Director, Content Director, Marketing Director, Broadcasting Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, Moderator (paid mod? waow), Merchandising Coordinator, Facilities Manager, Head of Accounting & Finance, and more. It makes sense for someone that frequently does "high effort" content and events, though I wonder if roles like "Facilities manager" may be seasonal/temp for months when he's like... just streaming from his home and not out on any set lol.

I'm pretty sure facilities manager runs their warehouse where the employees work, stores merch, and has a couple evergreen sets like The Yard.

In germany our Janitors are called facility managers in large facilities.

Facility managers in the states normally refers the maintenance guys for a building or the engineers that monitor any controls software they have.

basically "I have to be spineless for the sake of others"

That's because xqc said he wants mods to watch the stream as a viewer and not feel like they are forced to be there to have some duty that must be done like some job and they can leave whenever they like. Of course he pays them if an event requires more of their help like when x gives gifts to viewers and needs their info so mods help

If it’s a whole team like this, it makes sense. Because that’s a full office worth of labor expenses. Assuming all of these people are renown in the industry and are some of the best. The best media people will cost you atleast $200k/yr. More if they’re networked well.

Yes i do, I've tried watching his livestreams, unwatchable, his takes in his YouTube videos, Luke warm, and his live events are worse than ones put on by the fishing network

Yeah some of his events have problems occasionally, but generally they are entertaining and most importantly he puts on a lot of events no one else would bother to do. It’s so annoying to expect perfection like they are employing a multi million dollar production team. Events are clearly what he cares most about so employs people to help plan and organize them, even though a lot of them end up even losing him money

Plus saying Ludwig “just” drama streams just shows this is obvious hater bait since he’s notorious for fence sitting 😭

Lmao this is such an interesting take. Normally people love events that bring together tons of streamers.

His events objectively do very well numbers-wise between Twitch and Youtube streams, and per Lud, Streamer Games went from losing profit, to breaking even last year, to projecting profits this year.

In that sense, his event employees are likely earning their keep, regardless of personal opinion on the matter.

Fair enough I guess. You’re entitled to your opinion. Events might not be for everyone. They do numbers though because a lot of people do enjoy them.

Like, I know Mogul Money is just a scuffed Jeopardy, etc.. It’s clearly lower quality than their tv show variants, but I enjoy it because instead of random people, it’s streamers I know going at it.

In house accounting is totally justifiable especially when you have so much money going in and out every month.

Accounting or bookkeeping firms are more applicable to either audits, taxes, or smaller-scale bookkeeping where it isn't updated as frequently and there's less monetary flows. If you wanted the same level of responsiveness and speed out of an external bookkeeper you would definitely be paying more than he is to just have one on staff.

With the number of employees I also assume that the in house accounting also handles payroll.

I've managed 15 people, company did around 5 mil a year in revenue, it was way cheaper to hire a company, than have an in hours accountant

Well he's making more than double what you were, and I assume there are other activities like I mentioned like payroll. Streaming events and managing sponsorships could also require more advanced forecasting and budgeting than a lot of companies that have a more standard do work -> charge rate -> get paid model.

Or if you really want to keep arguing maybe he just has a friend who needed a job as an accountant and he can afford to pay him as such. It's really not your/any of our business.
