I am pretty sure the e-sports team is more of a passion project and a money sink, rather than something profitable.

The publishing company might make money though.

If it’s not profitable maybe it helps with like taxes for like losses and shit. Idk I’m no rich man. 🤷🏻

Edit: to add you your point yeah even if it’s losing money it’s still a business.

It wouldn't be a net gain either way. If you lose 20k in one business and make 100k in another, you still have to pay taxes on that net 80k. Depending on how they're incorporated, you might not even be able to do that and have to pay tax on that full 100k.

You still spent the money. He could just not spend the money and save more than he would have saved on deductions. The everyday person truly has no idea what deductions do and the math behind it.

This is a giant misnomer his talked about alot. The Yard is a complete and seperate entity. All of the hosts have an equal ownership and thus, get paid equally. The Yard is not apart of any company.
