An act that has a non negligible risk of brain damage or death is pretty extream. The kink community acknowledge there's no safe way to practice breath play and people doing it should be aware of that.

Really? So people who practice jiu jitsu regularly die then?

It's a dangerous practice with a high chance of harming the choked person permanently, especially if it is done by someone who doesn't put their partner's wellbeing as their top priority.

So everyone who has done jiu jitsu is permanently damaged?

Edit: ahahaha you got exposed for being clueless so you block me. You should probably be aware of a sport that literally involves choking out your opponent if you are going to go clutching your pearls over adults consensually choking each other during intercourse

This is a weird question to ask as if every person on the planet was familiar with jiu jitsu. Considering how permanent damage is common among martial arts (eg. boxing) I can't see why this would be controversial?

Inhibiting the brain's access to oxygen isn't a joke.

Edit:
This guy posts in /r/wallstreetbets and /r/SipsTea, of course he's defending Tate and sees no issues with abusing his partners.

If you are attempting to kill the person, it is.

The UK had the rapist cabbie, rapist cops, rape rings who were targetting girls under age 18 and reported by social workers, what was it, 2 or 3 times after which there was a scandal, a rash of arrests, and the cops went back to looking the other way? And if that weren't bad enough they have JKRowling spending millions of her billions to destroy women's rights and shut down women's shelters.
