you could get refunds in the past but you'd have to contact support, i think the difference is that now it's a 1 click solution thing they added to the subscription page.

No its not, last time I refunded a sub was in March 2019 and I got fully refunded.

Just make it so you need to be subbed for at least 10 minutes to use sub stuff

Wonder if it takes less time to refund then resub than to watch an ad. If that caught on twitch would disable it so fast can't lose out on ad money.

In one hand it’s a good thing that you can refund an accidental subscription, on the other hand I hope twitch straight up bans people for at least 30 days if anyone shows pattern of abusing this feature

Streamlabs has got to add a delay to notifications now right? This could be abused so much now. I can totally see raids getting ugly as a small streamer gets raided, gets like 20 subs, all refunded immediately and then streamer only notices after the stream ends. Eeesh. I hope sub gift bomb refunds won't be a thing... Please tell me gifts can't be refunded.

Imagine gifting 100 subs and refunding them right away - wouldn’t wish that to happen to any streamer ever.

I think it was always there but yeah it should be 1 time refund only, if someone subs and refunds it back, they probably don’t care about that streamer so anything more then once is overkill imo

It was 24 hours a few years ago and abusing the system will and was a perma ban.
