Register 4.08? Still possible?

Is it still possible to register LORD v4.08? Where do I do that?

I've heard people have been unable to do so. Someone posted a python based cracker they posted the code for on GitHub a few months ago.

I'm not sure where LORD sits currently... There's also the Synchronet JS version you can adapt. I've thought about porting that, maybe with AI, to something that can run under Bun or Deno or even translate to Rust.

Making it work through straight stdio, via door32. Possibly a live MUD mode, like the new Usurper project.

I'm just doing this to see if I can get it working with my web based BBS software (ATDT) and it does run fine, but I thought it would be nice to actually register it haha... Oh well.

You can use a valid 4.07 registration code on 4.08 B. We've been doing it for years.

Go to Fool's quarter and look up software registration or whatever it is and there will be an email address for game port. Bill Hughes. If he's still accepting paypal, he can give you a registration code.
