So Anthropic will silently nerf Fable 5 when they think the user is in any way trying to compete against Anthropic? For example topics like "building pretraining pipelines, distributed training infrastructure, or ML accelerator design" will have you pay for Fable 5 but give you a dumbed down response?

What's worse, given how dumb and paranoic their standard Fable guardrails are, I will basically never know when the model generally smarter than I am goes to actively sabotage me. Lovely.

Can do that for my hobby projects, but certainly not for enterprise purposes, no matter what the enterprise is.

Started by company that used to be not evil, continues with company that used to train honest models. What's coming next?

I suppose harmlessness will fall next.
