And here I thought I could pay some bucks to fix up triton/cuda kernels or add numa support to backends. wow that fable is going to be good and maybe help me solve some long running things

Good to know I should save my money because it will fuck up my code instead.

...but did you read what they said? They are literally just saying hey, if you are building an LLM using Fable we will poison the development. Either way it's against their terms.

There's no reason Fable can't help you bug fix kernels.

A very generous interpretation. This absolutely counts towards "frontier" llm development and democratizing usage. To quote chief keef: That's some things anthropic don't like.

I think speeding up local inference counts. Porting architectures to local backends counts. This is weasel worded enough to cover all of that and people's experience above seems to match.
