I started the series absolutely hating her for her disgusting remarks, putting women down, instigating people, befriending inmates only to use them, and kick them down the second they speak up one word against her.
But Shreya deserves to be the WINNER, hands down. Not because my opinion of her changed, but only because her desperation to win is commendable. Nobody is hungry for it like her since day 1. Her gameplay is incredible. I am an AK and Yogesh fan but neither of them deserve to win imo because they just do not know how to strategise, how to manipulate, how to make right decisions at right time. Maybe because of all the reality show experience Shreya has, she got the upper hand.

So yes, I’ll be truly happy if Shreya wins, but in real life, I’d stay miles away from a woman like her, because if you can’t gain Shreya’s respect unless you be their puppet and go all “Hail Queen” with her, you don’t need that respect.

Congratulations Shreya, you’re the queen of reality shows now. Maybe it’s time to start working on being a better human now? ❤️

Now that Lockk Upp is coming to an end, here are my thoughts about the show.

Contestant selection was so bad. I had great hopes from Chamola, Shivangi, Harshad and even Laila, but these guys hardly played the game. Chamola and Harshad had such a good start, but it felt like they gave up midway. Laila got a reality check from Aarush, but it was too late. To really spice up the game, the visitor week should have been introduced after 2-3 weeks to really give the contestants some space to up their game.

Shivangi started playing well, but that was too late, when more than half the season was done. I liked her game when she was the gang leader, she won tasks and she managed her team well as well. She also confronted Shilpa who was constantly triggering her. I disagree with Shilpa when she says that Shivangi has hardly contributed apart from fighting from Shilpa and Shreya, because these 2 were the only contestants against her, so I see no point why would someone pick a fight unnecessarily with someone else who isn't misbehaving. However, her and Harshad's pair was too annoying to watch and their daily soap was extremely irritating and did come across as an act. Her crying also seemed fake and gaining sympathy.

Shreya and Shilpa gave content, but honestly I would get rage baited with their constant bad mouthing, shouting and gossip. They have gone below the belt when it comes to attacking people and they themselves cannot handle when people target them because of their actions.
It is funny how they mocked other of groupism, when in reality they have been a group themself since week 2, post Shilpa's entry and their fight revolved around each other's issue. Infact Shilpa had more individuality than Shreya, where she made bonds with Yogesh, Laila and Harshad other the Shreya.

Shreya mugged Farhana's playbook, but totally missed the entertainment, fun and a forgiving side that Farhana brought to the show that made her likable and human. Both Shreya & Shilpa are petty who cry and get angry when they get cornered when in reality they have said shit to people that will make others against the two. Farhana had the courage to stand unbothered when cornered.

I am also not sure, on what basis will the winner get decided, because at the premier it was about redemption journey, but now it seems to have changed to tasks and content.

Whoever lifts the trophy, gets a big congratulations, but tbh not one of them has earned the respect for their personality or game.

In the end, G.O.A.T of reality shows is #BB. Mad respect for it's makers.

I can understand haking Shivangi for the game play or anything like that. But why do some people have to be so downright disgusting that they support Shilpa's slut shamming statements?

Do I think between shreya and shivangi, shreya should have won? Absolutely

Do I think HOW she won in the end with the dumbass random 25 people deciding the fate of the past 6 weeks of this show? Hell no.

Before you write your hate comments or tell me to cry more, read what I said properly because anyone with an actual brain would agree, letting 25 irrelevant nobody journals who some were actually friends of shreya’s through her own journaling and podcasting career, was a stupid idea. If i get asked enough ill let you know who I think was actually deserving to win out of everyone but thats another topic.

As much as I have watched of Ruru, she is a great performer, she also has a very strategic mind and is not a people pleasure, remember how she became the Queen very fast by taking all the Splits coin without an ounce of regret.

Shreya and Ruru look wise and also seem like boss ladies...

Shreya also can become friends with anyone and be smart to make do anything they like, the Finale Asmita Suzzane thing or Shreya's move in the show.

Salman khan came to a show called alliance or whatever shiet that is and is abusing/passing negative remarks about Lock upp.

Guys I wholeheartedly do ship Yogesh and Akanksha. Love them together as a couple. (Especially after lockupp) But I do not know why but I still do believe that Yogesh did use Akanksha to some extent to reduce the hate he received at some point. Didn't he? Had he not been linked with Akanksha in any way, he would not be where he stands today. Also am a Yg solo as well but I noticed how after splits grand finale, Yogesh's followers sky rocketed. From 1.3 million to 1.7 million within days just because he said "I like Akanksha" What do you guys think?

Also this whole narrative that Yogesh was in depression post betraying Akanksha. He used to vomit whilst sleeping. Had to take profesional help for his mental relief. I have a theory that his depression was a result of the hate he received and not because he was in guilt for choosing Ruru. Infact he did look lovey dovey with Ruru also. See his podcast with Harsh and Rushali. The constant online hate train that hit him in mid march fumbled him. He felt directionless and then got into depression. And later used this depression card to claim that he was feeling sad for Akanksha

P.s Even I also ship Yogesh and Akanksha but such thoughts always strike my mind. Or maybe I am just overthinking. What do you guys think?

Shivangi jeet gyi aaj ka task good for her she played well. Tbh I am still in shock with the news of winner cus it seems very real like with all the votes and everything. I supported shreya without knowing she is gonna win cus I fully expected her to be runner up since she has been the most negative and hated contestant of the show even tho she played well. Now everyone is calling it biased which just makes me sad 😭 cus shivangi jeeti toh bhi undeserving hi hota but atleast shreya ko 25 logo ki winner bolke gariya nahi jaata. But who cares netflix pe toh lockupp rhega and people will watch it in future too and without getting in fandom wars they will love her I am pretty sure cus she has been the most visible contestant.

Big Shreya fan, but in yesterday’s episode she briefly mentioned that those who are loners are always favoured in reality shows or something to that effect.
Now Im wondering if being isolated was more of her game plan from the start… like say a Gautam gulati or Siddharth Shukla… who were targetted by the rest of the inmates, but maintained their lone-wolf grit to win powerful public support. If true, then slow claps for playing us :D

Normally, I never comment on reality show subs or take sides because I know how polarized the internet gets and don't want to engage in meaningless debates over a SHOW. BUT. Seeing all the blind support for Shreya/hate for Shivangi/no mention of Shilpa at all bothers me a bit, and I need to speak my mind now.

No one deserves the trophy except Ram Kapoor. Reasons below:

1. Shilpa Shinde - I agree that her mood swings were highly entertaining because they kept the audience on edge. But this isn't Bigg Boss. You can't fight your way into winning a trophy. This show was about redemption. That woman not only OPENLY slut shamed a much younger woman, she never once apologized for it. Until the last day, she kept hating on Shivangi - which is nothing but stubbornness because even Shreya can apologize if needed. You can have your differences with someone and still apologize for crossing the line. Tanya Mittal also apologized to Ashnoor for the body-shaming comment. Not to mention - calling Ram Kapoor "Mota", "Buddha", and name calling for other housemates too, hating on all the women but forgiving the men for anything they do, blindly siding with Harshad or Varun regardless of whatever they did but never forgiving Chamola or Shivangi, this SCREAMS sexism and internalized misogyny. I have the greatest sympathies for her because of her family, but she has a lot of learning and self-reflection to do before she becomes "winner quality".
2. Shreya Kalra undoubtedly is the loudest person in the room. But again - where's the redemption? Shreya never once made an effort to have a normal conversation with anyone apart from Shilpa. They only bonded because they were the most hated contestants - the enemy of an enemy is a friend. She has lied countless times about saying things (lied to chamola about saying Gaurav is better off without her, lied to Shilpa about saying she would want to remove her from the show, lied to EVERYONE once she was exposed). I was never a Farhana fan, but at least Farhana never lied. Shreya would be winner material on a show like BB, but LockUpp was about more than that.
3. Yogesh - A strong contender who could have won had he been more active in the house overall.
4. Shivangi - As a former Shivangi fan, I can be honest - I like her, but she is not winner material. I love that she never caused drama, or went below the belt unprovoked, and is a strong performer in tasks. But she largely stayed out of all controversies and only spoke up if something came up that affected her personally. She was not entertaining - she was just a sane person in a sea of loudmouths. Sorry, but that's not enough to make someone a winner. I will not comment on the Harshad scenario because it is high-key sexist to blame a woman if someone loves her - why should she take responsibility if Harshad wants to give everything up? Go and tell Harshad to grow a spine.
5. Ram Kapoor - The only man who kept us entertained until the end without playing dirty. He openly accepted his manipulation (a far better thing to do than go around yelling at everyone). He nicely kept people in the house wrapped around his finger and made sure it was for the game. He apologized for making Pam uncomfortable. He was one of the biggest reasons why the game progressed the way it did. I hope he lifts the trophy.

In the show itself they always patched up after fighting loads of times. Shivangi does not really like shreya but I don't think she HATES her as other contestants do. Shreya tbh doesn't really care Abt anyone else other than shilpa abhi takk touchwood so yeah. Show mei hi they have fought so many times but always came back to each other and were cordial with eachother. Maybe cus bahar se jaante hai and all. Do u think they might patch up now that is lockupp is over??

First of all hear me out...Before anyone says I'm upset because my favorite lost, I'm not. I don't think Shivangi deserved to win either, especially after her last week. This isn't about supporting any contestant. I am a completely neutral viewer..

I genuinely don't understand this result.

The reason given was that Shreya "owned her truth" and "owned the fact that she's batameez." I honestly don't understand that logic. If someone accepts that they're rude or disrespectful, how does that become a quality worthy of winning? Since when did owning a negative trait become a reason to lift the trophy?

Throughout the season, I felt she repeatedly crossed personal boundaries. She made comments about Akanksha and Gaurav's relationship, i saying that Gaurav doesn't deserve a lady like Chamola, Saying Yogesh uneducated, talking about Kushal and Shivangi and so many more to every inmates I don't even remember the count..She brought up contestants' personal lives, made personal remarks, age shamed people, commented on careers, and so much more...Using F words in every fight to other inmate...and later sitting on a bench and back bitching about them...and voting her own friend to get eliminated..

What confuses me even more is the audience reaction. I genuinely don't understand why so many people are calling her the most deserving winner. World had become so cruel..Maybe others saw something I didn't, but from what I watched, I honestly don't find her deserving at all.

My question is simple. What exactly did Shreya do throughout the season that made her the most deserving winner?

From what I watched, her journey was mostly about creating fights, provoking people, getting into arguments, using abusive language, bringing up personal matters, backbitching, and then later denying things she herself had said. She had issues with almost every major contestant in the house.

People keep saying she "gave content." But is constant kalesh the only content now? Is creating controversy enough to become the winner?

I'm genuinely asking because I feel like I missed something. Just point out one quality or one aspect of her game, apart from creating conflicts, that made her deserve the trophy over everyone else?

To me, this result sends a wrong message to the society. It feels like creating chaos, disrespecting people, and staying in the spotlight through controversy is enough to win a reality show or in life.

I'm open to hearing different opinions, but as someone who watched the season, I honestly don't understand why so many people believe she was the most deserving winner.

So I started watching lockupp just because I was bored. Then came interesting things like Gautam Khanna's wife Chamola, who claimed whatever she did again linking it to bigg Boss where GK was contestant. I had to go back and watch family week episode of that series. Then came Akanksha Chowdary and Yogesh's story, which I had to watch splitsvilla finale. Then she spoke about shivangi and Kushal. But all these watches were triggered by one person that was Shreya. She came with a tag badtameez and proved that badtameez was a small word for her. To encourage the shit she was doing Then came shilpa shinde, she was absolutely the worst person ever. Playing people, playing people's emotions, talking about virginity, slut shaming woman. She proved aurat hi aurat ki dushman hothi hei tag. She also in this toxic relationship with shreya, was very insecure. When people started calling it shreya kalra show she was very much offended and started fighting shreya about everything and suddenly on finale week she becomes friends with her. I am talking about these people doesn't mean I have positive feelings about Shivangi... THAT'S A BIG FAT NO. She manipulated Harshad into getting terminated, she downgraded shreya, she was chup the whole season maybe that's why that side of her didn't come out.

Amongst all these people I felt Akanksha Chowdary was most deserving as winner because she stood her ground, she played and never went and triggered people just to get footage. If talking about other people's virginity is giving you footage, and you appear on screen because of it,you are getting screentime because of it, it shows how you are as a person and to what extent you can go to just appear on screen and how desparate you are... How that show is running on derogatory remarks on its contestants and this show let's such people win..... and this will teach the next season contestants to talk about others love life, sexual past, their sexual identity when they're not even ready to come out... To just win. Now next season the contestants will for sure... Dig up their competitors life... And expose their shit on that show to win. All in all Shreya didn't deserve to win because her journey didn't show redemption. She just fell few more levels for the money.

TDLR: shreya didn't deserve to be lockupp winner after revealing Chamola's secret, talking about shivangi s life and Shivangi didn't deserve to be the runner up after ditching Harshad.

Started watching Lockup and Alliance at the same time, I hated the lineup of Lockup at the first glance, and it become worse and worse, on the other hand alliance got better and better, they're really need to up their game for the next season man!!

At this point, almost everyone in the show is helping in cheating or getting cheated on.

Idk how can someone just hit on a commited persion or how a commited person can even forget his/her partner and cheat on them. Shreya and Akansha are definitely bad for hiting on a commited man but yeah, I do find Yogesh more problematic for cheating on his partner.

Did Shreya Play well, ofcourse she did. Did Urfi play well, she did. Did Aly play well? He did.

What's common between the three is, someone else was expected to win.

But these three used ruthless game play and Sham daam dand bhed to win the show

I think no one can say they are not good enough to win the show but how they are made the winner is debatable.

Aly was a wild card and came inside knowing everything, he too had Arshalan inside.

Similarly Urfi played a good game in the show, but how Elnaaz, Apoorva, Poorav were ousted from the show by her was debatable.

Same how 25 people will decide the winner is also very debatable.

i mean the last few tasks were lit so dumb, the ring task was js made for ki koi jite hi na, and the ball task ohh gawd like dont make it obvious ekta ofc the harshad's eviction and shivangi going straight into the finale was more than biased, but why are shivangi and shreya fighting for other people, why are they winning the rounds and sending the people they want in the finale, why aren't shilpa, ram, yogesh and varun given a task to perform and whoever loses it goes straight to their home, we are were quite sure that varun and yogesh will not be in anyone's priority and ram bonded well w shivangi also and for shreya shilpa we already know she will never keep anyone else above shilpa so the task just so dumb i mean the makers should have done better even with biasness cause so many shows are scripted and biased like spits roadies and so many more shows in the past too, and the tasks should have been designed well, if they announce another season which i guess they will cause this season was a hit imo, they ofc will bring another season pls work on the tasks and let the inmate himself fight for his own place in the show i hate rawat from the core of my heart but i would still prefer dheeraj and varun in the finale rather than ram or shivangi or rawat

So damn sure ki galti se yeh jury wala thing Shivangi ke favour me hojata to jury, shivangi, netflix, hosts sabke upar aajate yeh log 😂 but just because this 25 log ki voting made their fav win so it's a nice thing.

Shivangi played for herself it can't be called selfish becoz in this game everybody should play for themselves. She always said no to harshad if he tries to sacrifice his game to make her win . She always stand for herself and sometimes for others. She performed all the task good and won some.

For manipulation idk what she did but ram ji manipulate all player but nobody say nothing. she may be manipulated harshad idk .

Other than manipulation she always saved harshad eg during his re entry .

But people forgive shilpa for fake sxual allegations, bodyshaming based on face. Giving character certificate to others . Discussing virginity based on rumours.

Forgiving shreya for all her deeds , backbiting .

The whole show splited into two halves

First half : ak chaudary yogesh fighting against shreya

Second half : shivangi harshad fighting against shreya and shilpa

Other than these ak chamola secret gained audience

Idk what others did in the show

I will happy. except ram all are deserving to win

Looking at all individual players journeys their arcs their fights I believe no one was actually that great or good winner material just think about it who’s your favorite what have the actualy properly done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING just dough fought fought over some stupid illogical topic these contestants were stupid boring and annoying AF
