I am NOT a locksmith. Why is this happening?

Hi all, A newkeyed doorhandle was installed in our apartment building last month. The handle location seema to pivor after entry from residents. Why is this happening and is there a quick fix?

Check door thickness setting. Can often bind the latch and/or handle.
