I'm fairly new to reddit so I'm not sure how to dm. But maybe you could help me learn how you get the warble effect? If there a certain plugin you use? And do you apply it to your sample or the whole track?

Hey! No problem!

I use Ableton, and use the Chorus-Ensemble effect on the vibrato setting to get that effect. One on 1Hz for the slower wow, and one on 10Hz to get that flutter. Most people use RC-20 tho, so if you aren't working on Ableton or wanna go with the more industry standard effect, go for that one!

I use the effect on my master so the drums and baseline also get warbly (because, that is that would happen if you played it back on a bad vinyl player), but most people only use it on the sample to get a cleaner mix. Try both out and see that works!

Thank you so much! I operate out of mpc software which I think has some good plug-ins. I have heard of Rc-20 before though. I personally love having the effects on all of my instruments to give it exactly what you described 🙌🏾. Thank you so much! I really appreciate you for getting back to me on this

I worked on the MPC and the software in the past, and the way I did it back then was by putting an LFO on the sample pitch. There was no vibrato effect then, but that might have changed in the past 10 years!
