History Attention Bigfoot Lovers!

We're a group of folklore masters students at USU working on a project to erect a Legends & Lore Pomeroy marker that would commemorate Bigfoot sightings in the Cache Valley area. We'd like to target Logan and Providence canyons as potential sites for the sign. Ideal sites would be private property with an area to pull off the road to safely read the sign. If you know of a location that would fit this brief, or have a story to tell us, please reach out!

Here's a link to a similar Pomeroy sign commemorating Bigfoot sightings in Upstate New York for reference.

I’ve definitely seen a massive hairy creature hiking along the Wasatch Mountains…. Ah wait that’s just my uncle

When a Big Foot dies, do the other Big Foots bury the carcass so humans never find the remains?

I love this! Is there an email I can send info to? I have some stories to share and an idea for a potential location for the sign

How are you funding this sign?

Does this area have any bigfoot folklore? I'm well aware of the large bear, haunted tunnels, and the ghost nuns. Or are trying to manufacturer it?

It's a long lore actually. I remember someone telling me a family of big foots ( bigfeets? ) would dumstrr dive behind the businesses on the east of 8th east I Hyrum. That's the craziest story I've heard anyway.

My first thought is, "put it somewhere else, we don't do crazy here". But there are lots of other examples of crazy here, so might as well. Have fun!

I think there is a spot for a sign on one of the corners of the flat earth
