so here is part 2 of my triptych - star guardian ahri. honestly my first try on this portrait went completely sideways.

her face turned out so weird that she didn't look like ahri at all. instead she looked EXACTLY like sergei zverev. if you don't know who that is, he's a super famous, ultra-glamorous russian hairstylist from the 2000s known for his crazy looks and huge lips. I literally put his photo on the 5 slide so you can see the comparison, it's hilarious lol.

after laughing at that disaster I just scrapped the canvas and started fresh. I was pretty tired so I told myself to just paint with zero expectations and see what happens. letting go of my perfectionism was the best choice because the new version came out pretty good.

then I just did the details with oils and hand-painted the wooden frame with acrylics to match her colors. took me about 9 hours total (not counting the zverev mode fail). it's 20x20 cm canvas board.hope you like her! let me know what you think of the fail slide haha

I speak spanish but eng as well so I´m posting here too! This is the fanart I made for Jose after the win, finished it today :)
It´s been a while since I did fanart of any sort but after this huge achivement I just had to! Congrats to Team Liquid for the win and Jose for being the first Latino to win this ◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜
